“A centre point for transport”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2013

It's not necessarily a place to visit, but I was so glad that my hotel (HF Tuela) was so close to it. There were many types of buses - public and touristic - to be found on that roundabout. And the roundabout itself is a lovely little park to just hang out in and chill.

“Wonderful Portuguese grilled dishes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2013

I was in Porto six years ago and I vaguely remembered eating at this place and having found it marvellous. I did not remember precisely where it was but after walking along a street and asking people, I finally found it again! It was well worth it. The casual style, the fresh food on display ready to be put on the grill in front of you, the friendly, unpretentious waiters all make for an authentic Portuguese experience! We had grilled bacalao (cod) on the first night and grilled sardines the next day. Both were excellent, with potatoes and mixed salads to go with them a real treat. If you are looking for fresh, cheap, no-frills, grilled food, then visit this place when in Porto!
