Description: ,,As 7 Maravilhas" (,,The 7 Wonders") is an eatery that opened its doors in December 2013 in the heart of the "Invicta". In this location, the history starts as an eatery in 1937. To give that history a continuation with a unique concept in Porto, was our objective. Small meals and snacks together with a good "drop" - the true way to enjoy in an eatery (right, we are not a restaurant!). Just that you rarely find typical Portuguese tastes in our dishes, because at "As 7 Maravilhas" the menu is a travel around the world! We have our classics, from Falafel to Currywurst, from Onion Bahjji to Goulash. A wonderful variety of sandwiches, as also salads, soups and two small meals, fresh and different every day, always inspired by another corner of the world. The two small meals are served from 20h, all the other delicious of our menu are available from 13h. And sure, we also have the right "drops" to go with this suggestions, good Portuguese wines, beers from all over the world, Mango Lassi, wonderful teas, some liquors and Scotch Single Malts as digestif... It is our house, and our family would like to share the love for cooking, comfort and wellbeing with you! Welcome!

I sought As 7 Maravilhas out based on it's Trip Advisor rating and I'm sure glad I did. I stopped in for a late lunch, sat in the window seat, and enjoyed a great bowl of soup and a sandwich. The food was good and the service was excellent. I didn't try any of the beer as I am not a beer drinker, but their lemonade was good.

Food quality is questionable. Small portions, big prices. Very poor variety of beers in the menu, no matter the place is advertising itself with "77 beers"

Honestly, we're a little confused about that statement.
About the food - quality, quantity and pricing, well, some say so some say so. Fortunately most of our guests are very satisfied as you might find in the other reviews.
But that's your opinion, and that is alright.

What confuses us really is that you say that our variety of 77 beers is a poor variety... very strange - we do not understand.
Maybe you can give us a more detailed feedback what your expectations are?

We had an excellent time at this cosy place. Big variety of beers, good food, the people working there were very friendly, the decoration and music are just awsome!!! We enjoyed a lot.

We had an amazing time at The 7 Wonders in Rua das Taipas. The place is very warm and welcoming. I would suggest to try their petiscos that are great value and very tasty. There are various vegetarian options for petiscos though I would not recommend the cheese tower as it felt more of a picnic option in comparison to the cooked goodness we had with the falafel or the fried mars bar. They also have daily specials! They also have a great selection of beers and drinks oustide of eating hours.

The staff was so friendly, it was very pleasant and we felt very welcome despite them informing us that our table was only available until 9pm. We saw them having to deal with three French tourists who were insisting in seating at a table despite the place being full. Great professionalism and very friendly staff! I would highly recommend to book as they spent the night turning people away.

Went there last night after my daughter suggested it as it had both vegan and vegetarian options, loads of craft beers and still served meat for the rest of us.

A little off the beaten track but definitely worth seeking out. It's a smallish place but really cool and rustic with a laid back atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They explained all of the dishes and specials before we ordered.

The dishes are mainly tapas style so we chose about 6 dishes and two small mains of the fantastic ribs! We enjoyed everything! :-)

I had 3 different craft beers which were all great and the other 3 family members had a mixture of coffee and soft drinks. We finished up with 2 desserts which were again really good.

All of the above came to around 72€ for 4 people. A great meal and we wouldn't hesitate to return. :-)
