We didn't know what to expect because the hotel was associated with a school for tourism. The students serving us were an absolute delight, friendly, welcoming and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. We particularly enjoyed the chats we had with Carlos, who was running the bar. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
We found the location to be very convenient for both sightseeing and getting around the city - both on foot and on the nearby Metro service.
Yes - thus boutique hotel with 16 bedrooms, is certainly a little gem .

We have so enjoyed our stay here. Ricardo and his staff are incredibly helpful and efficient: everything from helping negotiate a toll payment, suggestions for restaurants, making reservations. The hotel is an easy walk into the main town area and we used uber and taxis easily too. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the double bathroom very luxurious. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel looks like a soviet school from the outside but do not be dismayed....you have made a great choice...just wait till you get to the room.
The front of house staff are all young, good looking and very helpful. Ricardo in particular is a really good employee and super helpful.
The rooms are very generous by hotel standards..I'm guessing combined bedroom and same size sitting room would be in the region of 60 sq m ? Well appointed, great bathroom and if you have been on the road for a few weeks it gives you the space to chill in separate areas.
Good bar and dining area. Overalll a great experience. Yes it is not slap bang in the middle of Porto BUT it is only € 2-3 to come back from the Cais da Ribeira (North bank ) or €4-5 to come back from Cais de Gaia.
An excellent find....thanks to TripAdvisor

Room Tip: Around about A$300 per night...which for the space is excellent value

What a wonderful find! We stumbled across this hotel and restaurant whilst out walking trying to get my daughter to sleep. The staff were a delight and the food was superb. We had the daily menu which gives you a choice of starter and main course. Extra for coffee and drinks but the menu at 8.5 euro pp (lunchtime) was excellent value. Five stars without a doubt. We hope to come back soon.

If you are looking for five star luxury this is not it. It is staffed by trainees, and it lacks the consistent tick-box attention to detail that characterises large chains. However... this was just about the nicest hotel room to actually be in that we have ever experienced. We splashed out on the suite, and got an appartment. All three rooms were large, the bed was vast, the room was quiet, and it was easy to just relax.

The staff were charming and helpful.
