I had a very good experience with the booking of the 1BR apartment. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen reasonably equipped, the balcony had a remarkable view of the city. The apartment is tastefully furnished and has a strong personality, which I liked very much. The property is located right in the middle of the city center, where shops, restaurants and amenities are in reach of a few steps. I didn't have the chance to personally meet the property owner Jorge, but his appointee Pedro was simply impeccable, and took time to explain me and my girlfriend useful things both about the flat, and Porto sight seeings and and getting around. I was even allowed to check in slightly earlier that agreed, as well as check out later, which I found extremely kind indeed.
I've stayed in apartment number one for three nights from 24 to 27 April. The apartment was not clean. The curtains were missing in the living room and the curtains in the bedroom were torn. There was no privacy and curtains did not block the sun to enter and wake me up early every morning.
Disgusting and worst of all - I found a swarm with thousands of worms channeled out of the floor, as soon as I put a clothe on it. Needless to say, the clothe was thrown directly into the garbage.
There was no one at reception during the opening hours (saturday at 17:30) and no phone number I can inform and seek help. Even the emergency number was not active. I was not given any alternate phone number, except for the city's emergency line - that is not relevant in this case.
Stay in your loft was shocking for me and caused me great distress.
The team in the reception did not even bother to ask about my stay in the loft at check-out. Also did not seem surprised when I told them about the worms.
This is the same review that i've sent to the hotel management, without receiving any response at all.
Im definetaly not recommanding this hotel, and will go back.
