The front desk was not helpful aside from taking our money, there is NO elevator so if you have luggage expect a back breaking stairway climb. The beds might as well be made of wood the are so hard and I can hear our neighbors conversation as if he is in our room. Will NEVER stay here again. Oh, and the district is rather scary, even in the day. As well, our bathroom cup had hair in it as well as murky water. Finally, one of the beds has holes in the sheets and pillow case.
It is fine for the price. Everything (common areas, rooms, breakfast) is basic/no frills but clean and quiet. Not far from a metro station and a 10 minute walk from the North station. Minor niggles such as the phone didn't work, fridge was noisy so unplugged it... OK for one night but I probably would not stay for a longer period of time.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant and clean room and hotel
Hotel far from the city centre but very close to the bus stop and underground. It is situated in the Turkish area, full of typical restaurants and markets. Our room was huge and clean, with a full equipped bathroom (hairdryer, soaps,...) and everything has been just restored. We had our towels changed everyday. The breakfast was various and wide..only if you wake up early in the morning! The staff was helpful and friendly, helping us with every question. We really recommend it!
Stayed in July 2011 for 3 nights. Pros : clean rooms, good location, great breakfast , comparable prices. Cons: no elevator
