This hotel was chosen by our tour operator- Newmarket Holidays. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times.. Rooms were fairly basic yet adequate. Not much in the way of luxury, but for the price we paid, were fine. No tea or coffee facilities, which I would have liked. Breakfast was a continental buffet.
Conveniently situated for the city centre and Grand Place- ten minute walk along the pedestrianised shopping street.

On the flight path at certain times of day.

Room Tip: I was on the 2nd floor and there was noise from neighbouring premises. Maybe the top floor is quieter.

Dear Carolyn C,

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us, we take guest feedback very seriously and take your comments into account to develop our hotel. We are glad you enjoyed the service offered by our staff, as well as the central location, making it easy to visit the city. Regarding the tea and coffee facilities, there is a bar behind the reception which serves warm beverages as well as local beers.

Best regards,

Victor Camhis,

Got a very good deal with hotels.com, on arrival I must say that staff was really, really friendly, the guy at reception was 5 stars and I must appreciate his politeness and professionalism. The room I stayed is very small but fit to purpose and fair to the price I paid. Very clean, equipped with TV, shower, soap, chairs and wardrobe. I would not recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway but if you are in town for business this is the place to stay.

After being in several hostals in my trip, i couldnt find anything like it in brussels so i signed up to this hotel. I have no regret. It was a really good price/quality hotel and it was very comfortable. the bed was a dream and the service was very very good. You have a metro station really near by like 200 mts from the hotel, u have the city 2 shopping mall right in the corner. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel it was the best of my trip.

Me and my bf stayed here for 5 nights. We found it on Venere.com: we were looking for a hotel next to a big station, since we were supposed to take a lot of trains during our stay, and I really didn't wanted to walk a lot to reach the station.
This one was perfect for it: just a couple of minutes from Gare du Nord - where you can get trains to get to Brugge, Antwerp, Ghent and Chaleroi :) - and just next to Roguer stop of the underground. Next to the hotel there is a super duper commercial shopping street that gets out till the center, next to Grand Place, where you can find every big store you know like Mango, H&M, Zara and some local shops like Sacha and Gallerie Inno.

The hotel is clean and they changed our towels every day but they didn't do the same with bed sheets, even when they had a little stain. So it was weird to me.

Every room has a palette of colours like blue, pink, green and grey. I really wanted a colorful but we got the grey one. It was a little disappointing but not such a big deal.

If you don't turn on the light inside the bathroom, hair drier and points will not work.

We didn't had breakfast inside 'cause 15€ a person every day was a crazy amount of money. We always had breakfast to go outside the hotel, like a waffle or something. If you are going to stay during the weekend remember that everything - and I mean everything - is closed here. So I suggest you to get something at the grocery store the day before :)

Check in is at 3pm but we got at midday and our room was ready and we didn't have to wait for it. While check out is at 12pm. The hotel staff will take care of your luggages if you need.

Dear Giulia,

Thank you for taking the time to give us an in depth review of your stay, we are glad you enjoyed Brussels, thanks to the location of the Hotel. The lively commercial shopping street is ‘Rue-Neuve’, and is a nice way to get to the Grand-Place. We are sorry to learn that you found the breakfast to be too expensive, yet it includes a buffet with various pastries, fresh fruits, fresh juices, cereals and other cooked dishes. We look forward to welcoming you again soon,

Best regards,

Victor Camhis,
General Manager

a small and clean hotel. the free breakfast was excellent ! the room was comfy but it can get hot as there is no aircon or a fan. one night i had to leave my bathroom door open because there was a window in there i could leave open for some breeze. my room faced the road so it was noisy some nights. not a bad location. it's about a 10-15 min walk to Grand Place etc..Good for the price
