Hotel BLOOM!
Reviewed 14 February 2014

Hotel Bloom is a modern hotel located only a fifteen minute walk from Brussels Centre. Our room - 635 - had a beautiful view overlooking the Botanic Gardens, and the art décor was a wonderful abstract painting of Europe. We had asked for an XL room, which was very big, and our bathroom was also very spacious. Keeping in mind we had visited during the winter season, my partner and I never found ourselves to be cold in the room - it was always rather warm which was nice! Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of towels at hand, and provided for us was a soap bar, shampoo, body lotion, shower cap and others. I would also like to take this opportunity to comment on the power of the water and the temperature! Very powerful shower and the water was always very hot - exactly how I like it! Staff at the reception were very helpful, I had called down to let them know we did not have a tea bag (complimentary of the hotel), and when I went down Lovely (the name of the lady) was extremely generous with the tea bags, and also offered a kettle for our room. Also, if you arrive before check in (as we did), the hotel offer a service to have an early check in for an additional 45 Euros. The same service is also offered to those who would like to have a late check out too. If you don't want to pay the extra costs, fear not! The hotel have a secure room in which you can leave your luggage until needed. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice, however not worth 30 Euros. I have been to similar hotels and have not paid as much for the breakfast. There was a huge selection on offer, but by the time we had gone down most of it was finished and was not replaced. They have however, got a great waffle van in which you can make your own waffles with any topping you want. This was probably the best bit about the breakfast Overall a great experience at the hotel, and would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Room 635 has a great view of the Botanic Gardens and a spacious bathroom.

We were totally amazed by the concept and design of Bloom from the entrance till the room. It was so unique, friendly and comfortable. It makes us feel at home although we were miles away. The Tv which can surf the net at the same time having bloom's own music album and all these was done by a remote control -- cool! we can even airplay whatever we want to go on public.

The room was spacious, the restaurant was elegant, the waiting lounge was classic! We just wished that we can stay in the hotel at all time! :)

Even the cleaner was so helpful and generous! Everyone was so friendly in Bloom!

In a nutshell, our experiences were great and blasting in Bloom! Honestly, we will still choose Bloom over other hotel for sure if we were to visit Brussels again. Thanks Bloom!!

simply the worst restaurant / bar service ever - the hotel is actually pretty cool but the service is hilariously bad - like, you'll sit there for an hour without a drink while loads of staff pour on past with something better to do... it's quite bizarre

Attended a course and stayed for a week. I arrived early. Asked for the wi-fi password from the receptionist and charged my mobile at the hotel lobby. Just before 12 pm, the staff was very generous allowing me to an early check-in .

A convenience store just opposite the hotel. To muslims, few halal restaurants nearby. A short walk will take you straight to the city centre. A half-hour walk took me to the Grand-Place Grote Markt.

Enjoyed my stay.

Got this deal from Euro star ,arriving Sunday @ 18.00 hrs. ,and took the tube to the hotel(as it was Sunday was worried how I would get tickets but just go down to the entrance and found a ticket office still open ).The hotel is as previous reports clean and funky , only negatives are the price of meals and booze . Took our own teabags but it still tasted foul ,even bought senseo coffee bags from across the road ,but little improvement ,must be the water . We found we could eat for around 10 to 15 euros each at the many eateries around Grand Place. Brussels is not a massive place and is walkable ,in fact we walked back to Midi railway Station in about 40 minutes .You will find a lot of the shops expensive , but some of the British shops like H and M are similar to back home ,we found 2 full days more than enough to do what we wanted to do .

Room Tip: we paid extra for XL room 336 ,ok but the higher up the better.7.50 a Euro for a pint of beer ,nip a...

Thanks for calling us clean and funky! We hope you also enjoyed your big and bright room and our concept in general. We do hope to see you again in the future. We’re sure there are still some places in the capital of Europe you didn’t see although they’re really worth it.
