Stayed there just before taking a plane to Italy the next day. It is conveniently located just next to the Bruxelles Nord station. The hotel is truly beautiful inside. Rooms are very comfy, with everything you need. Concierge service was great, we forgot our toothbrushes and with a simple call downstairs they were replaced within minutes. Gym is nice, with showers and sauna. There's à bar and restaurant downstairs but wé didnt try it, ate in Mam Mam which we would highly recommend too! .

My wife and I stayed one night last week in this fine hotel.
We were treated excepptionaly well at reception and received a room even though we checked in at 0600 (AM). Room was clean, pleasant even though a bit old fashioned. Bathroom is modern, apaprently recently renovated. Bed was very comforatble. Breakfast was standard with warm belgium waffles as and added nice touch. Location is great (if you are looking for shopping) as it is located right across the street from the famous main pedestrian shopping street - Rue Neuve. Situated right next to the Place Rogerier Metro station - there are easy connections to anywher you want to go within Brussels, Belgium and beyond. I highly recomend this Hotel.

The hotel is around 7 minutes away from the North Station, i.e. very convenient to reach from the airport (a total of 20 min with the train). The first thing one notices is the kind of old smell you experiences as soon as you enter it - well the stunning Art Deco helps forgetting about that. The check-in is swift and competent, the staff very friendly indeed. Nevertheless, the hotel is having this kind of 'slightly chipped and worn' character. This becomes even more clear once you enter the room. It is a nice decor but it is worn out. Don't upgrade to executive status cause you will get the same room - the only difference being a bathrobe and a newspaper in the morning. And bring ear plugs since it can get quite noisy from the traffic. The bathroom is nicely spaced with the usual non-existant water pressure in Brussels. All amenities are replaced on a daily basis. If you get a bottle of water or not very much depends on your cleaning lady of the day. To sum up: good location, nice staff, but in need of renovation.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your comments on Trip Advisor.
Our hotel was totally renovated in 2004-2006 and we continue to upgrade our rooms, floor by floor, including bathrooms & hallways year after year. We have just completed our 1st floor over the summer period.
We are not aware having a problem with our water pressure and did not get any comments from our other guests. Please accept my apologies if this has inconvenienced you.
We do hope to be able to welcome you back in the near future and with best regards,

The Crown Plaza Hotels are my favorite Hotels. I've visited them in Zurich (near the football stadium) and Brussels (Le Palace and Europe).
The Le Palace rooms are a little bit old fashioned (carpets, furniture) but well-tended and clean. The bathrooms could get a renewal but they are still ok and clean as well. The king size beds are superb; the TV is a standard flat screen with Belgian and some international channels.
The fitness room is small and average, but the equipment is modern and all working.
The breakfast is a must have – fresh fruit salads, various fruit juices (like apple+kiwi), bread rolls, scrambled eggs etc and really good coffee, also to go.
To reach central places like “The grand place” you walk just 10 minutes or you can go into the metro station in front of the hotel.
Negative: You can’t open the windows wide the chain at the window allows just 5 cm, the aircon didn’t work in all rooms or was switched off (maybe over 20 degrees in October in Brussels wasn’t expected).

Room Tip: The second floor is the "smokers floor", don't get a room near the stairs and elevator...

Had a review meeting dealing with an EU project I am involved in. CP is just in front of the building were the meeting took place.
Arrived VERY early, around 07:00 in the morning and received a room with a smile. this was great as I had an overnight flight and was just exhausted. The room was great. clean, silent and comfortable.
Breakfast was very rich and tasty.
The concierge was helpful in finding restaurants and places to visit.

All in all - a great place. Will be back.

we arrived late in the evening ,check in was hassle free and staff where very friendly. The room was a good size and very clean, although the view from the window was over looking another side of the hotel.after spending the day sight seeing in the rain,it was nice to return to the hotel, which had its own controls for the heating,we soon warmed up.the only down side of the hotel was in the evenings there was a lot of siren noise, police or ambulance which we could hear from our room.
