Great hotel. Staff always at hand and very helpful when you need them. But not overbearing, as in some of the smaller boutique hotels.

Spent three nights at the hotel. Very nice bed linen. Terrible cheap pillows. The usual awful hotel duvet – Without leaving the AC on, they are far too warm for the room temperature. Oh for the return to crisp white sheets.

Room nicely appointed, with very comfortable armchairs. Fast wifi with many routers throughout the hotel. The parquet floor in the room looks very stylish, but doesn't have the sound absorbing qualities of carpet.

The extensive bedside light switching was very clever, but allows the bathroom lights to be switched off from the bedside. Great, as long as you are not the one in the bath at the time.

Bathroom was kept very clean, but had one light out throughout stay. Surely the housekeeping team should report these things, not left to the guests. While the shower was excellent, the bath was a horrible very narrow plastic thing. Put it this way, if an overweight person, were to get in it, they’d have trouble getting out.

Breakfast choice was extensive. Sadly, few mainland Europeans, along with the Americans, understand that for tea with milk, you need fresh milk not UHT. And as for what they call bacon, well forget it. Cold plates don't help much either.

Even with the faults, I'd happily stay at this hotel again (on a promo or package deal), as thanks to the staff, this hotel has a very nice atmosphere.

Very nice place if you're not hung up on modernity. Hardwood floors in rooms are a nice touch (hotel carpeting can get so dirty) but can also be noisy when your neighbors upstairs are walking around in hard-soled shoes. I really liked it a lot. Would have given it 4 stars if it had real closet space instead of the very limited furniture closeting. Would definitely stay there again. Staff was very helpful and nice and patient.

I stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Brussels for a weekend in January. The Hotel is nice, typical new fashion Crowne Plaza, located very close to the EU buildings. It would be a very good option for people in business with EU institutions in Brussels. For half of the price of the Hotel Breakfast you can enjoy a nice and complete traditional one in a bakery one block away (the recent opened "Paul" is a nice charming suggestion). The restaurant in general seems too over-priced and not so tasteful. The rooms are comfortable, but a little bit small. If you have many luggages it can be a problem. In my triple room one of the bed was smaller. For me, a "triple room" should be different from a "double room with extra bed". The noise of neighbour rooms opening and closing is quite boring, a so new Hotel should have better sound isolation.

Stayed at the Crown Plaza Brussels City Center from the 23rd of January until the 26th for a weekend break.
This hotel is right in the heart of Brussels. From or arrival to our departure we were treated with the most profound service. Our check in was quickly delt with and all the information re restaurant ,bars lift and directions were given to us by a most profesional receptionist. As the bar was closed for upgrade a section of the restaurant was dedicated to a bar.
Service in the restaurant for our evening meal was excellent and a 3 course meal including bottle water and a bottle of wine was about € 80 for a 2.
There was a large selection of food available for breakfast and this was self service.Breakfast was served from 6.30am .
The room was big and a spacious batroom complete with shower. All modern facilities were in the room.
Service was excellent at all time and the receptionist were more than helpful at all times.
There was plenty of tour maps available and other information leaflets also.
We had a plesent and excellent stay at this hotel and plan to visit again.

I stayed at the this hotel a number of times between August and Decemeber 2008. The hotel is comfortable with friendly staff and feels smaller than the number of rooms. The rooms that I stayed in were of all of a good size with all the requirements of a business traveller in place (free internet in all rooms etc). The hotel is about an (enjoyable) 15 mins walk to the main tourist areas of Brussels. The food in the bar and restaurant is quite ok without being spectacular - in any case there are number of restaurants quite close by. If I have one complaint it was that I found the heating/air-conditioning to be a little loud in each of the rooms. Overall a most pleasant experience.
