The hotel is right next to the main A7 road. From the road it does not look like your normal hotel as the front part is actually a college for hotel students. You very rarely see any of the students in the hotel itself. The hotel is made up of 7 blocks of 4 rooms on ground and 4 on 1st floor. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day,you get free use of a safe in room a fridge that is filled up to 3 bottles of water free of charge (small bots),flat screen tv with bbc news and ccn in English. The toilet you get shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower which is in the bath, the sink has free soap, body lotion shoe cleaner, shower cap and comb plus a hair dryer and magnifying mirror.Towels changed daily Main Room has front door and patio door.
A main pool and baby pool, plenty sunbeds but 2 types orange one's and brown one's the orange are more comfortable and disappear first only about 14 of them but a busy day at the pool in September was 14 people if it is a quiet pool you want and no screeming kids then this is bliss. The pool bar was 2.50 euro for cola and 3 euro for pint of beer. The food was pricey 8.50 for burger,be better if they charged 3.50 or 4 euro for burger and 2.50 for chps.We went on b+b as most people did buffet style.Usual cereal, fruit juice ,fruit and yogurt, cheese and cold meats scrambled egg, fried egg bacon breads toaster and pastries cake. The breakfast did not differ on any day The staff were very good whether at reception ,dining room or bar or cleaning staff. When you leave the hotel there is a LIDL supermarket 150 yards up to the right open 7 days where you can get drinks for your fridge. If you cross over the bridge of the main A7 road to get into town,if you cut straight down you come to the beach.Half way between the bridge and the beach is a good Pattesterie for filled rolls sandwiches and cake for afternoon snack. When you cross the bridge and turn left from the hotel and stay on pavement of main road you will end up in La Cala town where the restaurant and bars are. There is a market next door to the hotel on Wednesday and Saturday. There is a golf course that backs on to the hotel(La noria} you can see them play a short par 3 over water at blocks 5 and 4.Also the towels for the sunbeds can be hired for 1 euro per towel for one week if you keep same towel or 6 euro if you changed it every day,not refundable.Check out is 12pm there is a room at side of reception to leave your case if you are a late pick up and you can shower in the spa.The spa sauna, steam and Jacuzzi is open from 10am.Most of the hotel guests seemed to be Spanish. If you fancy a good couples hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Fuengerola etc then this could be for you.Feel free to ask any question by email
