Stayed here during the off-season, so expectations for rennovations and staffing were low.

Overall it has what you need - beds, a tv, wifi, breakfast.
(though breakfast kinda sucks if you want western food, not asian).

Clean enough, not at all fancy. tiled floors, big bed, new TV. Big rooms.

Staff English levels were low but enough to get by.

Probably not the most convenient location in Phuket, but if the hotel cost is a big issue then this is a good option.

This hotel experience was not very good, due to extremely low service level (rude staff), low maintenance, extremely bad beds and no good restaurant. Nice pool, but that was probably the only nice thing here.

Beware of this hotel. He rooms are split between the main hotel and then others located nearby hat are above local businesses etc. I stayed here on business and stayed away from the main hotel, about 15 minute walk away from the main building, at night here is very little light to walk by. It was very close to the people I needed to visit and I was aware it was away from the main resort area of the island.

I stayed in the most expensive room available, and it was old, smelly, mouldy, out of date etc.

From what I could establish the rooms in the main hotel are better than than those located a long walk away. They maybe time shares or something similar.

I will not stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in the main hotel

We stayed here from April 06 to April 10, 2013. We joined the tour with Hong Tai Travel in Hong Kong. The room is ok but no free wifi internet connection in room or at the lobby. The hotel is far away from Patong Beach (about 40 min drive). The hotel has a great pool but no life guard on duty. The breakfast is terrible even with the mainland China standard but is free with the stay. A lot of tour group from mainland China stay in the resort because of the cheap price.

I came here solo as an Interval International "getaway" but suspect this is the room where I'd be if it was a full fledged timeshare exchange. I booked first, then read the reviews and was apprehensive about what I would find here. The check-in staff could have been more informative since I had to ask for internet passcode, taxi card, map of resort, services etc. The room itself is worn and dated, as others have mentioned. Two of the three tables were wobbly and the cabinet tops could have used a good painting. There's a nice cushioned lounger on the balcony overlooking the marina that was pleasant when the sun was setting. Design flaw in the bathroom sink has water sitting around the faucet so that's why the mould builds up there. The "toiletries" were small partially filled bottles of just shampoo and shower gel so bring your own conditioner and soap. Is this an eco friendly choice or just a cheap one? Hmmmmmm.
The internet in my room did not work between 8 a.m and 9 p.m. so had to go to restaurant hotspots.
The pool is tepid at best, probably because it is under full sun all day with only the slightest scent of chlorine so hope I don't catch anything :(((
There is a spa/massage tucked across from the marina that had a wonderful aloe vera after sun treatment, but not connected to the resort so not advertised at all.
There is food service at the pool with cheap lunch specials as well as the restaurant adjoining the pool.
The first night the a/c didn't seem to be very efficient so I called the front desk to ask for a fan, who patched me over to housekeeping. They said I could buy a fan at the store in the morning if I wanted. WHAT????? Next morning I asked to speak to a manager who sent over a large fan which was helpful, since that night the a/c started to blow out hot air.
Would have been nice to have shuttles to Central Festival Mall or Phuket town. Instead it was unmarked, unmetered "taxi" cars whose "set price" varied depending on who you asked.
The setting was very pleasant though, with my room overlooking the very expensive boats. If I had a reason to come back to Phuket, I would not chose here although the rooms overlooking the pool, likely the ones pictured on the site, would probably be nicer.

Room Tip: The beds are rather hard--but that's an Asian standard.
