Stayed for four nights with my hubby.
Beautiful environment with lovely artistic touches in the hotel and rooms.
We stayed in the Mystique Suite which was very spacious and comfortable- the air conditioner was effective and the bed was really great with really comfortable pillows. resulting in a good nights sleep.
The room comes with a lovely outside space, that we were told was our private space ( but that only seems to apply when there aren’t many guests!).
All the staff are welcoming and really lovely people and those beautiful Bequia smiles just add to the experience!
Dexter is the main man and he looked after us very well, collecting us from the ferry and always making himself available to take us into town and back to the hotel during the day - at night you have to get a taxi for your return journey.
The barman Kong also kept us entertained when the bar was open, but the bar seemed to only be for short periods of the day and was always locked up and deserted by 22.00hrs so no nightcap available.
Plentiful breakfast served daily of fresh fruit, eggs, toast, fruit Juice and coffee all very nice.
The only negatives to the hotel is that there are no fridges in rooms and drink making facilities are not standard (although we had taken our own teabags and the hotel obliged our request for a kettle).
All the staff seem to disappear very early around 21.00hrs - 21.30hrs which means if you haven’t bought water before returning from town at night, you have no choice but to wait until 8.00hrs the next morning for a drink.
The other negative aspect to the room was the temperature in the bathroom- sweltering after someone has used the shower and really needs air con or at the very least a fan!
Overall we had a fabulous four days and would go back again, but I would recommend you take your own drink making facilities and your own mossy killer - as despite being told the room would be sprayed and mossy deterrents would be lit at night by the staff- it never happened!
