“Depressing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2014

I called in one morning to have a coffee and cheese scone. The cafe is made up of mismatched tables and chairs which just looked scruffy. The waitresses looked bored and it was too much trouble to serve you. The scone was supposed to be cheese and caramelised onion, it tasted sweet like a fruit scone and I have no idea where the cheese was! The coffee was bitter like it had been brewing for a while. All in all not an enjoyable experience and I won't be returning

“Vintage chic, fabulous venue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 November 2013

The tearooms at the Harleston Cornucopia Exchange are really lovely, with old-fashioned favourites on the menu from light lunches to traditional tea-time treats, wonderful service and a welcoming, homely atmosphere.

The Exchange has been transformed by the new owners into an Aladin's cave of antiques and vintage collectables, so you can browse round the 30-plus stalls and shops in comfort, and either start or end your visit with a tasty little something from the tearooms - Glen's scones are to die for, and the sandwiches are simply yummy.

Do please make a point of going to see for yourself - I promise you will not be disappointed!

“Proper home cooked food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 November 2013

A wonderful eclectic collection of vintage and retro shops and stalls, mixed in with some delightful gifts for sale. And to top it all the Parlour Tea Rooms offers real home cooked food produced by Glen. An absolute delight eating food just like your gran used to cook, from crockery like she used to use, in surroundings like her home. And there's the 50s style bar too! A true place for nostalgia!

“Olde worlde Tea Shoppe in Harleston”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2013

A new life for this Waveney Valley market towns historic Corn Exchange. 'Cornucopia' is a Victorian shopping arcade and tea shop recreated, and done beautifully. Well worth a visit if you are having a day out, or are visiting from the coast. Even the music is played on an old Dansette record player!
