“A great piece of Greek antiquity.”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

After strolling around the Plaka area you get a great feel for what ancient Athens was like in the period between 400 BC and 400 AD. It just helps to get a picture of the total layout of ancient Athens.

“A must see!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 via mobile

I spent 4 days in Athens and visited the temple of Hephaestus on the first day. It's absolutely beautiful, and is located in the museum of Agora, alongside other historical monuments. It takes a chunk of the day to visit that area, and is absolutely worth it!

“Best kept temple in Athens”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

This temple gives you a great idea of what temples used to look like. It pokes out of the greenery and makes an excellent picture!

“Better preserved than the Parthenon”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

This temple is in better shape than the Parthenon, and its relatively smaller scale enables the visitor to have a better look at it and at its sculptures.
