Owner description: This ancient Greek temple, located on the Acropolis and dedicated to Hephaistos, god of the forge, is one of the few temples to be almost entirely preserved.

This temple is extremely well preserved and definitely a must see if you are in and around the ancient Agora

Of all the things I saw in athens I liked this temple the most, it's very well preserved and has a special atmosphere which is assisted by the wild tortoise and birds living within, it's also a little quieter than other nearby monuments, go early in the morning and you should get it to yourself for a bit.

This is just one of the many things to see in the Ancient Agora, but the fact that it's so well preserved makes it easy to imagine what it looked like back in the day in all its glory! Well worth the small cost of admission to the Ancient Agora to see this!

It is set on the site of the ancient Agora. The temple is well preserved, on a small hilltop facing the Acropolis. The temple is nearly complete, giving you a much better idea of what these spaces were like.

It is not as busy as the acropolis and is very peaceful. Take a nice stroll through and imagine yourself thousands of years ago.

This temple is the most complete one we saw in Athens. It does not have the spectacular views like the Acropolis but it is definitely worth a visit.
