It's true. There's an excellent view of the Acropolis from the roof garden - a great place for breakfast or an early evening drink. The hotel is well situated and reasonably good value and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We'll certainly be back.

Good location, walking distance to Acropolis, Plaka, tour bus and metro. Pleasant staff, rooms small but how big do you need it, bed very comfy, good value for money. Roof top bar with fab views of Acropolis.

Room Tip: Rooms on 5th floor may get noise from roof top bar.

The hotel has the kindest staff, the location was excellent with the view of the Acropolis from the roofgarden. Actually, we could see Acropolis from our room! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast offers a big variety of tastes, including traditional products and recipes. It is located in the heart of Athens, only ten minutes from Parthenon by walking. There are also two metro stations nearby. I definitely recommend it.

We got a "non refundable offer", and payed around 40 euros per night in November, so of cause it is off season.

For that price it was excelent! The personel there is very helpful and welcomming, and the rooms where very nice, and clean. We could se the Acropolis from our terrasse, and we had a normal room, not the one where you pay extra for acropolis view.

There were fresh towels every day - the breakfast was pretty deasent(the young girl woring there even cooked omelet for us personally most mornings). And the staff was always helpful with calling up restaurants to order tables, or any other requests we had.

The location is very good. In walking distance to acropolis and the Plaka area. And Syntagma and other areas too, if you don't mind walking. Otherwise there is a metro station close by.
The street where it lies is prerry small though, so you will have to find a detailed map to see it, and most people you ask for directions, will not know the street.

We can surely recommend this place,
Trine and Sune from Denmark

We have just spent two very comfortable nights in the Acropolis Ami. Yes, the room was small but it was very clean and very well appointed. The staff were great....we arrived late evening but no worries, the welcome was warm and sincere. There is no restaurant but we were directed to a super taverna 200 m away and ate well.

Buffet breakfast was more than adequate but slightly marred by the big tv doing its own thing in the corner.

Our room on the 4th floor had an extensive balcony...beware of the very low guard rails! Unnerving for the faint hearted....the view across to the acropolis however is superb. The highlight, literally, is the 6th floor bar. Tired and footsore after a magical tour of Athens we decided to go up for a drink and order a "take in"....we had been given the heads up on this the evening before....food delivered to our seats...beer super cold and view sublime augmented by totally superb staff was the perfect end to our day. If you are looking for grande luxe then move on but if like us you want value for money then this little gem is certainly worth considering. Reasonable location, great price and excellent staff! Thoroughly recommended.

Room Tip: Most rooms have good sized balconies with tables and chairs and of course the superb views across to...

This hotel was clean and close to the attractions of Athens however the room was not warm and inviting but reminded me of a stark, cold hospital room (I'm a nurse). The shower was extremely small (I am not a large person and had difficulty). The taxi driver from the airport had no clue where to go, others weren't so bad. The best thing was the price and the local restaurant down the street that made it all worth it!

I loved this hotel - the staff were helpful and smiley, the room was big, clean and (most importantly!) cool, the breakfast was generous and delicious and the view of the acropolis was stunning. The location is brilliant, a very short walk from the hustle and bustle around the acropolis museum, etc, but tucked out of the way s quiet at night. The area felt very safe, although of course vigilance is always advised.

We only went up to the rooftop bar once because we wanted to go to lots of different places during our stay; the cocktails were delicious and were as expensive as you have to expect cocktails to be really! It was very busy when we went and mostly seemed to be full of locals, which I see as a very good sign. The atmosphere was great.

The only sticking point with the hotel was the lift; it was very slow and a little unresponsive. We just used the stairs.

I recommend finding the hotel on a map in advance to show your taxi driver - few of them seem to know where it is!
