Stayed in this hotel with my husband and son. The location was fantastic, walking distance to the acropolis, the metro and train. Staff were very friendly and provided good advice. The also allowed us to use their dining area in the evening when we brought our own food in. Breakfast was also very good. Will stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was a complete waste of money. The hotel and our room both smelled like a giant ash tray. The AC is our room was so loud it was unusable because it would have prevented us from sleeping. Fortunately, it was cool out so we could open up the outside doors. Finally, the "Acropolis view" room for which we paid extra money only had a view if you stood on your toes at the very edge of the balcony and looked over the other balcony. The staff were friendly but you should definitely spend $30/night more and stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: 303 does not have an Acropolis view, despite what the hotel says

We were here for 2 nights and the overall stay was comfortable.

Location:
If you are taking the metro from Athens airport, you need to change trains at one station (the central station) and then take the suburban line. This is well explained on their site. The hotel is a 10min walk from the metro, but the last 50mts are the worse - you have a near vertical climb that you need to undertake to get to the hotel entrance and with our luggage that was quite an effort!

But the good part about this location is that the hotel is just a 15min walk from the main tourist centre (acrpolis and other areas). Also the hotel is well surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants for easy access to any things you need to buy.
Also since you need to walk "a lot" to discover Acropolis and all the surrounding monuments, the best part we liked was that we could come in the afternoon and take a short nap, before heading back again at night. In the summer heat this was a big big plus for us!

Rooms:
The rooms are very small and the bathroom probably even smaller... you want wash your hands in the sink without spilling water. Even the lifts are super small, so I guess the entire property has been squeezed into a small area. The beds were comfortable for sleeping.

Breakfast:
The breakfast is served on the rooftop and you get a view of the acropolis from the rooftop (but doesnt look as beautiful as shown on the hotel website :). But for us the biggest problem was the blazing heat at 9am in morning, the area is not well covered and it was really difficult to eat while sweating in the heat! The food spread was ok with choice of eggs and some fruits.

Service:
Was ok - there was a girl at the desk who was really helpful and gave us lot of local information. but there was another old man (at night) who didnt seem to be want to be disturbed with any service requests

Overall the location is a great plus for this hotel - Make sure you stay as close to the Acrpolis area because you need to walk a lot. The hotel is value for moeny

About three weeks ago, I visited Athens with my husband and stayed for 4 days in this nice hotel really near to Acropolis Area. Both hotel environment and neighbor made us feel relaxed and safe and its staff satisfied our wishes. The rooms and the rest area of the hotels were renovated and cleaned on daily basis and included all desired amenities (shampoo, hair cap, iron, desktop pc, water boiler, etc.), We were also lucky to meet the bar opening in the hotel roof garden as we had the opportunity to drink a cool drink with the view of lighted Parthenon. It was an overall really good choice for accommodation in Athens at reasonable price.

This Hotel is surely a hidden gem. Our room had an absolutely stunning view of the Acropolis ...The location of the hotel is perfect, perched on a small hill, away from the crowds .... It is centrally located. There are many historical places, points of interest, museums, and good restaurants all within walking distance.
The staff is great. They go above and beyond fore sure.... and Panos the owner is certainly beyond words. It is said that old Diogenese wandered for years looking for an honest man. It's too bad he didn't stop here.
And finally ... the price is right.

Stay here for a week in Athens In April, read from other reviews that the rooms are rather small they are actually rather specious and cleaned everyday. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is central to Athens is near Synrgou fix Tram and Metro station (5 minute walk) which links easily to the airport and to central Athens. Close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Greta price and great location. Has a roof balcony which looks over Athens has amazing views.

Can't really review properly - had a prepaid confirmed booking (through one of the major and reputable booking sites) and arrived at 2pm. Was abruptly told the hotel was full. The guy at the reception then seemed to be unable to speak any English, was rude, unpleasant and unhelpful - totally unwilling to try and put things right. Most annoyingly, when a guest came down from upstairs, he suddenly managed to speak reasonable English again. The booking site phoned the hotel while I was there, and the receptionist once again lost the ability to speak English. Be wary, they may not honor your booking. The booking site relocated me, but the situation wrecked the afternoon.

Dear Mr. Richard,
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable review. The experiences you described are not characteristic of the level of service our staff strives to provide, and we truly sorry for this complication in your stay. Unfortunately, your experience constitutes a case of poor coordination and updates with booking systems. Moreover, it was really unpleasant for us to hear about the reluctance of our employee to serve you. This level of service is not acceptable and is already addressed to the concerned department. We look forward to having the opportunity to accommodate you in our hotel in your next visit and reverse the unpleasant opinion you formed about our hotel
