This apartment is huge and in a brilliant location. It is within very easy walking distance of most of the main sights, and is also very convenient for the metro. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The only room that isn't very big is the kitchen, and that still has everything you need if you want to self-cater. There are only two reasons why I haven't given this five stars. The first is that it is quite noisy at night-time. The noise is from outside, not from within the apartment block, and is just the downside of being in such a central location. The second is that the building - not the apartment itself but the hall and stairway - is a bit smelly! But other than that this is a great apartment and I would definitely recommend it.
From the start George was very prompt & responsive in dealing with our booking & queries regarding the apartment. George & his team were available to respond to emails & calls prior to & during the holiday, being very efficient & helpful assisting with arrangements on our last day, dealing with baggage & airport transfer.
We were met at the apartment & given an introductory tour. The apartment has beautiful period features, is well kept, clean & comfortable. The bedrooms are very well proportioned & the bathroom facilities with 2 showers had plenty of hot water using a boiler system. The kitchen is small but well equipped( no microwave but everything else including a dishwasher). It felt safe & secure with both a key & key code entry from the street.
The only thing to consider is the single glazing( the windows are a beautiful feature in themselves alongside the balcony areas) but not being city dwellers the noise for a couple of our party took a little getting used to the first night or so-for others it was not an issue.
The apartment is very well placed for access to all the main visitor attractions, train stations, shops & restaurants-all within walking distance. I can happily recommend dealing with George & his team, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment & Athens.
