Ideally located hotel near a metro station (maybe 50m away), in a realtively quiet neighbourhood with good tavernas and supermarkets nearby. Quite clean, not very spacious rooms. And the most impressive thing was the breakfast - fresh, tasty and various (responding to 4 even 5* hotel)! Staff was very friendly. In one word - perfect value for money.

If location of this hotel would be in Kolonnaki, price would be triple. very nice boutique hotel. however location is good is u have business in ctr like me. the area is not very nice even if not dangerous. Naples or Rome would be more dangerous. athens is a very safe place.
breakfast and kindness of staff is remarcable.
i will stay here again.

We stayed here for one night early in October 2010. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but very clean, and did a fair (though not amazing) job of blocking noise from outside. Breakfast was included with our booking, and I would definitely recommend doing this! There is a fantastic selection of beverages, hot and cold breakfast items , and delicious Greek yogurt and honey. Yum! In the evenings the breakfast area is a small restaurant that serves reasonably priced pizzas and other items. While the hotel is not that close to the Acropolis, a metro stop is only a couple of blocks away, so it was quite easy to get back and forth.

Stayed here from 15 to 18 Oct. Trip advisor recommended, thoroughly warranted. Friendly, clean, plenty breakfast choice. Three stops to Syntagma Square, less than 10 mins from hotel door, for 2 Euros on metro.. Quiet location, residential opposite our front facing room. Some noise from building site opposite, but that won't go on for ever. Thanx for a great stay in a fab city

Me and my partner were in Athens for over a week and stayed at the Athens Lotus Hotel and enjoyed every minute. Not in a great part of the city, but the staff was awesome in helping us out to make our stay awesome. The place is very clean and well kept, food is great, very well priced accomodations for this place, would stay there again for sure. And being a gay couple, this was no issue with any of the staff and made us feel very comfortable.

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights in the Athens Lotus. The best thing about this property is the staff -- very helpful and extremely efficient. We had problems with the safe (my fault!) and their patience was remarkable :) they are also quite knowledgeable about the history of the building and its restoration. The breakfast buffet is just wonderful and quite extensive. The rooms are comfortable and the bath spacious. The best thing about this hotel is its location -- literally steps from the Metro which takes you anywhere you want to go in 5 minutes tops. It was quite easy to hop on and go to the Plaka for dinner, shopping, etc. For 3 Euros you can purchase a 24-hour ticket for all lines -- what a value. I would absolutely stay at this boutique hotel again if I were in Athens.
