The Better Half and I stayed a fortnight in this place and it was fantastic value.

You couldn't call it a luxury hotel but it is clean, the rooms spacious and the staff polite and very helpful. Maids were in rooms everyday and kept them spotless.

Breakfast is of the buffet variety, and whilst not particularly to my taste, you could always get something or other to suit you.

Rooftop bar has reasonable prices again with good service. Also served small range of snacks which were decent quality and value.

The cost of this hotel was pretty cheap for Athens and I would consider it a bargain for the quality of service and a decent location.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2018 and it is very centrally located, only a short walk from the main square and close to bus and metro.
The people at reception were without a fail extremely friendly and helpful, from sorting taxis to charging our power bank (note on that: no USB connection in the room or the TV, so you need a charger or else do what we did and ask reception to charge your phone etc. for you).
Lovely big shower and bathroom.
The roof garden is small but very nice and the breakfast room up there is also lovely and airy. Breakfast and check out both is later than in most hotels, so that is great. But if you want the really nice fresh toasted bread with veggies and olives etc on it, come to breakfast early!

Room Tip: some rooms seem to have a bigger balcony than others

I managed to find this hotel accidentally while looking for an inexpensive hotel in Athens for two nights, and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful and very kind. The room was huge! It was essentially a small apartment, as said in the name of the property, and it was nice to have a small balcony and a large space to unwind. The location is about a 10 minute (uphill) walk from the closest metro station, (Panepistimio) and has a rooftop bar/restaurant, which was empty for the duration of my stay...but I'm sure it becomes more popular in the summer months. Overall it was a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I selected "single room" when I booked via booking.com, but I received a double bed in a large room, so it was kind of lucky.

The room is quite small. The air doesn’t move or change, if the ac is not on - which it’s not when you are not in the room as the electricity goes off when you leave. So the room is warm and very moisty when you return. The air in the barhroon doesn’t move at all and it is always wet. The floor wouldn’t dry even during a day. It has also mold in the seiling and a very bad smell due to all above. The bed is terrible - it’s very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows are too small or too big and smell dirty - of sweat. There is a view straight to the next building so can’t keep curtains open. The curtain is thick fabric and smells badly of smoking. Staff was usually friendly - allthought we tried to use the laundry service but got so vague answers and the place wasn’t open and there was no laundybag etc. so eventually decided to not use the service and go with half-dirty clothes. The breakfast is horrible and nowhere near worth seven euros. Fake butter, fake greek youghurt and pastry - nothing else. You get a tasty baquette and a freddo cappucino for 4 euros in the nearby cafes. It’s also not really close to anything as it takes 10min walk to the nearest metro station and i.e. more than 30 minutes walk to the Archeological museum. We stayed here for three nights and that’s about the longest I could stay here. On the positive side we fould many interesting foodjoints in the neighbourhood - which have very cheap and very good food and there are lots of athenians around instead of only tourists.

The room size is reasonable for two persons. The bathroom's size is also ok. The room was clean, the bed very cozy. There are some furniture defects in the bathroom, but not a big issue. The breakfast variate, with meat, vegetable and sweets. It is easy to arrive at it from the airport, using metro blue line and bus 25/26. Close to the city center: 15-20 min of walking. I recommend it.

Room Tip: Chose superior rooms for the view
