“Excellent small museum”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

At the time we visited part of the museum was closed off for renovations including the café. Didn't take anything away from the quality of this small but well presented museum. As the name suggests, the works are mostly statues and pottery from the Cyclades. The pieces are both beautiful and informative. The displays include very good interpretive information relevant to the different regions represented on each of the four floors. There were also some excellent multimedia presentations that further helped to inform and entertain. If you enjoy a good museum allow a couple of hours here. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

“a must see!”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

Another fantastic display of ancient Greeks' art and artifacts - this time the islands. Collection is of reasonable size - quite manageable for an average visitor. It is also a very pleasant space to seek shelter from the heath of Athens.

“Very nice and interesting”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

The entrance is in a side way but not too diffucult to find. The exhibition starts at the top floor, is airconditioned, and has a lot of interesting items, also some interactive items which the kids liked very much. We liked it very much. It has no cafetaria no longer so take with you a bottle of water!
