Beautiful character hotel with elegantly maintained rooms albeit a little small. Located in Syntagma Square, which would have been a convenient location if not for the inconvenience and general chaos due to strikes and protesting in this area.
We were very impressed by the excellent amenities available, such as the outdoor swimming pool and bar on the 7th floor, and the indoor swimming pool and saunas available to guests for no extra charge. The terrace restaurant on the 8th floor provided amazing views over Athens and the Acropolis, which are lovely either during the day or by night.
The concierges were all very helpful and able to recommend excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel, but it all came at a price from a coffee for €9 in the lobby bar and wireless internet for €10 per day but overall a pleasant experience.
