“Didn't seem to be particularly important”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2012

This site is within the Agora. There are other sights in the Agora that seemed to be of greater significance.
My strong recommendation is to read up well about the Agora in advance of your visit, so you understand what to make of all the different sights (there are atleast 10 of significance) within this area.

“Cool restored building”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2012

This is the shopping center and up class market of the ancients, well restored and sitting just next to monastiraki and ancient agora. If u bought the ticket for acropolis, why not drop by Attalos, it's included.

“life in ancient Athens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

If you do not visit this reconstruction of the ancient stoa, you will miss one of the finest collections of ancient democracy in action. The displays have all been modernized and the concentration of artifacts from the region makes Athens one of the oldest cities on earth. What stands out is the modern approach to government, all on display in the museum - a collection that is not only unique, but a wonderful learning experience on the nature of democratic principles.

“HAVE PHILOSOPHY WILL TRAVEL”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2012

The stoa and the stoic thinking started in Athens. Anything that happens to others can happen to you too. This is one of the fantastic things that can happen to you during spring time.
