I entered from nikodimou st where there is a cute Italian greek restaurant, well walking up about 3 shops there a bakery and they make the best café latte and with a bottle of water cost about 2 Euros, by walking ;up hill the stores are not as fine as the stores down hill which are gold jewelry store and up hill is the tourist stuff. I just drank the coffee the small lady was so good at making it I ignored the young good bodied blonde girl, that's how serious the coffee was. don't forget to negociate. I bought a cap for 5 Euro and on the next street going left at a big store no discount was selling the same cap at 3.50 Euro, I refuse to wear my cap for now.

We loved taking walks on this street in the evening. Full of shops and excellent restaurants with nice outdoor seating. Also Hermou street for shopping in regular stores.

You will most likely end up here in the evening for something to eat. There are many tourist shops here with mostly the same items. Bargaining is essential. There are also some black market handbags being sold on the street as well as little plastic toys and assorted items.

The eateries vary from purely touristic to authentic. The prices can vary wildly too but anything on this street will be more expensive than normal Athens regardless of the the quality.

In the evening there are some places with live entertainment.
