The hotel is anything else, but 5 stars. Location is good. Quiet neighborhood in the city downtown. I was told it is the inner city place where rich people live. The hotel is located on the second highest hill in Athens. One should walk 10 minutes to the closest public transport. However I do not think public transport is necessary to go sightseeing main tourist attractions. The area has very nice restaurants, but be aware that they are not with Greek cuisine. If you like to try nice Greek food, go to Psiri.
The hotel itself is moderate and could be considered for short stay.
Yes, there are rooms with view of Acropolis, but my room was overlooking inner space, surrounded only by walls and with very annoying noise, probably from the hotel's air-conditioning system. The noise was a problem for me, as I like to sleep at open windows. The room had ashtray and I was told I could smoke inside. I am not a smoker and did not like the smell in the room. Room without a balcony. Linen was clean, but the towels were grey in colour. Pillows were comfortable.
The staff was nice and friendly.
The restaurant serving the breakfast has a really nice view of the city and Acropolis. I did not try the swimming pool and the gym.
