There are some very objectionable points of this hotel: the rooms are rather small, amenities aren't great, some rooms go to a noisy patio, the bed is too soft (says a futon guy) and breakfast is at best so la la.
But the hotel is saved by its impeccable service. I complained about my initial room, having specifically asked for a non-smoking room and being given a smoking room. The room was immediately changed with a friendly smile and an apology. While this might seem basic to some, it is not - in Athens anyway.
My favourite feature: the internet actually works! I admit I had to pay, but at least I could work! Rates are not cheap, but it's definitely worth considering if you want a business hotel.

This hotel is not 4 star as it is advertised. it is 3 star at best. The breakfast is poor. The rooms are small, but neat. The bathroom feels congested and there is no stand-alone shower. The walls and ceilings are very thin and you can hear every single sound from neighbouring rooms, even when a tap is opened! I will not be staying here again.

This modern hotel is 1 block from Syntagma Square, and a very short walk to the Plaka. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants...very conveniently located. The rooms are very clean, and some have a French Balcony (we did). We could see the "changing of the guard" right out our balcony! The rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful. Every morning, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet, the food was delicious, and there were many selections to choose from. A short walk away and you were surrounded by ruins, just there in the midst of the city, amazing! It was like stepping back in time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I tried speaking a little Greek and they helped me with my accents. We would definitely go back and stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room with a French Balcony if you can. It might be a little noisy at night with the street below, but it is so worth it.

We stay 5 night in Electra hotel, and rhere I see the mythology mircale
of Electra - 1.3 sq/m bathroom with all the usual fixture It was so small , that it was a mirale i can get in. (according Israeli Code-the dimension of this room is not suitable to bathroom in apartment.
The loction is in the center of the centrum, and that the reason I forgive them about this discomfort.
The price was reasonable. although . no connection to internet in room.
I book the room by BOOOKING COM' and in thier description it was 22 sq/m' but We go a very compact room (estimation 15 m)
In overal it was a good deal.

Have just returned from the Electra hotel in Athens. Hotel was neat, clean and freshly renovated. It's quite traditional so for those who like traditional, it's perfect. Mattress is a Coco-Mat brand and extremely comfortable. Sheets crisp and very clean. Great breakfast, consisting of pastries, fruit, cereals, hams, cheeses, hot foods and juices. The front desk accommodated our wishes regarding a late checkout without fuss. Finally, the location was great! The hotel gave us very clear instructions, via email, regarding catching the bus 'X95' from the airport to almost the hotel door. Do not catch a taxi, you don't need to...bus 5 Euro, taxi 40 Euro, both take about 55 minutes. Bus and ticket booth are right outside airport exit (just look for one with X95 on it) and bus arrives at its final destination at Syntagma Square. Hop off bus, walk straight across the bus road, to the square, then head slightly left to the pedestrian lights that lead into Ermou Street, a pedestrian only street and the street leading away from the Government building at the top of the square. (The same bus at the same location (with a ticket booth) takes you straight back to the airport along the same route and leaves approx every 15 minutes). The hotel is number 5, one of the first couple of buildings at the beginning of the street on the left hand side! The hotel is 'smack bang' in the middle of food, shopping and attractions and easily reachable with luggage!

Room Tip: We stayed street side with a balcony, was still quiet!
