Mostly very good but there was way too much noice from neighbours during the nights.
Restaurant on top was superb.

We stayed at the Titania through a trip we booked via a travel agent. While the hotel boasts a 4 star, it's merely an average stay in a questionable part of Athens. We were advised by our Travel Agent not to go west of Omonia square and the hotel is just below (east) of this part of town.

The lobby is beautiful as well as the Olive Garden restuarnat on the roof garden. The rooms however are just basic. On our first night, our AC was not properly working and there was a musty smell in the room as soon as we entered. Also, I woke up with several bites on my legs - perhaps a mosquito or spider?
The shower was tricky as it was only the handheld and unfortunately we got water all over the bathroom floor.
Also, we had to pay for WiFi.

The Hotel is in the center of Athens (Omonoia Square) ,very close to Metro staion. The Lobby is great, the rooms are big enough, where kept very clean every day, but I stayed in a room near to some big aircondition units that where noise all night long.
I had a F/B package, breakfast good variety & quality, lunch and dinner was in good quality but very poor variety-almost every noon and evening the same.
Unfortunately no free Wi-Fi area and they charge it very expensive even in the Lobby.

Stayed for 5 nights, June 2012.
The hotel was centrally located, near the Omonia metro station. The room was quite big, clean, the amenities worked - most of the time (shower needed some fixing). The fridge was so full of minibar items that nothing could be placed into it. The tv has but one channel in English (some weird sort of news channel). Breakfast was good, but not spectacular. They have no free wifi and charge 16 euros a day for horribly slow service - reminding me of the pre-broadband days. If you need the internet - look elsewhere.
View from the restaurant at the top is spectacular, but the ice cream is probably not worth 9 euros....

Titania is in an excellent location just outside the touristy center of town, only a few meters from the Omonia metro station and a short walk to the Panepistimio metro station (the Academia). This hotel was booked for us by a travel agent, but aside from the great location, it didn't live up to expectations.

The room was average sized, although my husband and I were given two twin-sized beds instead of one large bed for the two of us (this was our honeymoon). The air conditioner was extremely weak and worked very poorly (this was in June). Wi-Fi was very expensive, although if you purchase anything from their Olive Garden restaurant, you get one free hour (they advertise as "free Internet for the rest of your stay, but they only give you one hour). The restaurant is very pricy (we had a beer and a coffee only), but the view of the Acropolis is spectacular. The front desk is pretty helpful and speak multiple languages fluently (Greek, English, and Spanish at least), but they were very pushy in favor of the tours that they partner with. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of mediocre fair and left us full but unsatisfied; the coffee was terrible, and all the juices they served were Fanta-type mixes from a machine, but they had a large selection of good teas. On the plus side, they had a lot of sandwich-type dishes that we were able to pack up and take with us as a lunch.

Overall, it's a fine place to stay, but certainly not 4 star worthy.

Me and my family visited Athens at the end of March, when we arrived we were amazed at the facade of the building, it looked amazing! The area is quite central and has left some bad impressions on other people but we loved the vibrant busy streets of Athens. The lobby was clean but there was a strange smell surrounding us, I suppose you cannot avoid these things in an old building in the centre of Athens. The lifts were small but there was plenty of them so no qualms there. The rooms were AMAZING! We booked the double executive rooms and we were very satisfied with our stay. The beds were soft, clean and comfortable, the TV was in perfect working order and there was a fruit basket with a litre of still bottled water waiting for us upon arrival. The view from the balcony was amazing as well, busy streets underneath and high enough to see the lit Parthenon, heaven! The bathroom left a bit to be desired however, it was clean but in desperate need of a face lift. Wardrobe space adequate and reception manned at all times! If the bathrooms were refurbished and the smell in reception gone this hotel would, in fact, receive an excellent review from me.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a high floor with a Parthenon view, it is worth it!

We stayed 5 nights in Titania hotel. Our room was very small and old. Breakfast was fine. Unfortunately there was no free Wi-Fi connection and Internet was expensive. Location was good, close to metro station.
As my opinion Titania is not 4 star hotel because the rooms were very old. The only thing that I liked in Titania was Olive Garden Bar and Restaurant on rooftop with amazing view of Acropolis.
