We stayed in this hotel in Athens for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week tour of Greece. First the good points. The hotel is located in a superb position close to the new Acropolis Museum and about 10 mins walk away from the entrance to the acropolis - so you could not want a better location. The hotel is family owned and the owners and staff are anxious and willing to please. When we arrived we were shown to room 101 (never a good omen) which despite being on the ground floor immediately behind reception we were assured was a quiet room. The room was tiny and dismal and we rejected it. In fairness we were then offered another room which was on a higher floor which was again tiny and dull. We complained again but were told that the hotel was full, which we accepted to be the case as they were clearly very busy, but they would move us to a larger room in the morning. Again in fairness the following morning they moved our luggage whilst we were out and the new room which was much larger was quite acceptable. The breakfast was adequate but uninspiring. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and in a capital city it was overall good value and the location can't be bettered. But the morale is don't accept an inferior room - they do have better ones!
