Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and the breakfast was great! The hotel was right near an underground station so getting to and from the airport was no problem with all our luggage. Only a short walk from main city attractions like the acropolis itself and the new acropolis museum.

We stayed here for 4 nights in total (several weeks apart in different rooms) and found everthing very good. But, it is a mid-range hotel, so don't expect the ultimate in luxury. The rooms are spacious and clean, although they are starting to get a little tired, particularly the bathrooms.
Both of our rooms faced the road, but road noise was minimal as it is a quiet street.
We dined out every night, but the breakfasts were above average. The staff were very helpful and, combined with the hotels position, very close to the Acropolis Meuseum, and only 10 minutes walk from Plaka, make it a very good propisition for a stay in Athens.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May, and i think that we got a good value out of it.

Here is what you need to know:

1) This is a 3 star hotel, don't expect luxury
2) The rooms are pretty small, at least by North American standards. When we walked in into the room, we had a queen size bed, that took about 80% of the room. There was a small desk and a chair, but wasn't even enough space to full open our suite-case.
3) Great Breakfast is served every morning, that fills you up quite nicely. You will not leave hungry in the morning.
4) Location is great, and if you turn right as soon as exit the hotel, and walk for 5 min, you will hit a street filled with restaurants and cafes where you can have a nice lunch or dinner. If you continue walking on the street, for another 5 min you will get to Plaka.

Overall the hotel offers great value for the money, as long as you have the right expectations.

The hotel is in a transition area between local residential apartments and the tourist attractions, which are within easy walking distance. Museums, restaurants, and the Aropolis, as well as local shopping are at your finger tips.

When traveling as a couple, it's important to have a bed that allows you to sleep together. Our double bed turned out to be two single beds pushed together. The room smelled and was uncomfortable.

Those issues can all be overlooked but what happened next is unforgivable. After checking out, I left my money belt with $100, credit card and passport on my bed (my fault I know). I called the same day and spoke with the manager of the hotel, he confirmed that only myself and the cleaning staff entered the room. Even with that knowledge, the manager refused to confront the cleaning staff. If you have never done it, replacing a passport is a total pain (expensive, itinerary change, hours at embassy). In summary, a little honest goes a long way with travelers and if you don't trust where you sleep, don't sleep there.
