The hotel is located in front of a park a bit from the center. Not longer than you can walk or take the nearby metro - or one of the many cheap taxies.
The top of the hotel is a pool and a bar - with a fantastic view of ancient Athens. Nice for a late night cocktail or a swim during a hot day.
The rooms are okay in size (if not American used to BIG rooms) and the bathroom is ok fine with a nice selection of all from slippers to what ever you need.
The staff was very friendly at all times of the day. Both helpful with advice on small places to go, public transport, getting a taxi or anything you needed. With a smile at the same time.
Its Radisson Blu so there is always free wifi. Not just in the lobby but also in room. Other hotels could learn from this.
The hallways between the rooms are with no windows more or less anywhere. It makes it dark but the hotel kind of made a plus out of that - putting on butterfly here and there, lamps with shadows built in and so on.
The breakfast was during my stay on some days on the top floor restaurant - full air-condition - with amazing view and downstairs. I found the selection just as I would expect it. Service also here was a plus.
What to avoid? I had a great view from my room but I could imagine that some rooms will have a view to a wall or like nowhere. I guess you can try to bargain with the hotel.
Btw you can do the hotel and your self a favor. Do you see a great price online just email the hotel and ask for the same rate. I am sure they will reward you with a free cocktail in the bar since they save the "agency" cost to many of these online booking services.
Enjoy Athens and the hotel.

Loved this hotel because of the rooftop pool. Great views of the city and a great (but distant) view of the Acropolis at night. Also it was close to a metro station so we had a convenient way to get around Athens without having a taxi. The staff was very accommodating in helping us see the USA World Cup match and in organizing a taxi to the airport.

A conveniently situated hotel, just a short taxi ride to the local tourist areas (not confident enough to use public transport!). The staff were very friendly and helpful, housekeeping very efficient when we requested more pillows. Not too impressed with the cooked breakfast but a wide choice of food on offer. The pool area during the day was extremely busy and the pool staff none too efficient and in the evening was a very pleasant atmosphere for dining with wonderful views. We had a superior room which was very clean with tea and coffee making facilities (unusual for European hotels I have found) bathrobes, slippers and toiletries were also provided. Although the Hotel is situated on a busy thoroughfare, air conditioning was very efficient therefore no need for open windows.

Very good hotel in a convenient location, close to the Victoria metro station and central station.
The staff were absolutely great, helpful and professional. Special thanks to Vicky for a job well done.
The rooms are well equipped and clean. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety of choices.
The rooftop pool and bar are brilliant and offer a great view of the Acropolis at night.
Three things need improvement. The corridors are way too dark and need additional lighting. The showers need shower curtains to prevent water splashing all over the floor. The bathrooms in general could use a facelift and better ventilation.

Our recent stay at Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens was very pleasant. The Staff is the real star of this hotel. They were always ready to help and most courteous at all the times. I forgot my phone in the hotel room and realized it only when I was at the checking counter at the airport. I called the gentleman at front desk and explained him the situation. Not only he personally went to my room and found the phone he also immediately arranged for a taxi to deliver that phone to me at the airport. My whole experience of the hotel was elevated with this act of kindness and the very best customer care. I don’t know the name of the front desk gentleman who helped me otherwise I would have sent a personal note of thanks to him.
Other than the staff - the roof top restaurant is really good. The view from there is breathtaking. Please do make a point to have at least one dinner there. Location is convenient. It is not the most tourist central location (except for the Archeological museum) but then nothing is “too” far in Athens. Victoria station is very nearby. The room was also ok, nothing exceptional or bad about it.

The hotel is considered a 4-star hotel and it is questionable. The location is surrounded by a main road in front and apartments and small stores on the sides. As is common in Athens, the city is congested and badly planned resulting in buildings so close to each other and same is true about this hotel. As a result, tour buses and taxis will drop one away from the hotel which forces one to walk a few blocks.

The hallway has a very dark carpet and walls are painted dark making it look the halway small and dark. In addition, the lights are so dim making it hard to see the door number and the door lock.

The hotel does not provide complimentary water or other beverages. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in which nothing is provided. However, instead of paying a higher price to the hotel, one can walk down (left turn) the street and buy water at the market price.

The breakfast which is served on the 8th floor of hotel is good and the view of the city from the 8th floor is fantastic.

The room has also dark carpet which makes it smaller than it really is. The mattress is thin and very uncomfortable. They only provide two small pillows which are not enough to give a head a good lift.

Room Tip: Room in the back of the hotel is quieter.

Dear mgtprofessor,

We really appreciate the time you spend to send us your comments and observations.

I definitely agree with you that Athens is a crowded city, but I am sure that it’s not the only one and for that reason the team of our hotel gives the best of themselves to make our guests feel comfortable, relaxed and more than welcomed. Furthermore, our staff is always willing and ready to serve every need of our guests. I’m glad that you enjoyed the view from our roof garden, as well as our super breakfast, which are two of our great tools. Location is also another one because it gives the opportunity to our guests to visit most of the famous attractions in the capital with the least hassle as everything is close and the variety of transportation choices contributes to saving time.

Overall, I would like to assure you that all your feedback will be noted and delivered to all the relevant departments.

Thank you once more and we look forward to having you again.
