Loved the location of this hotel (can walk to everything & the view from your rooms are great). The rooms on the front overlook the National Gardens (& you can see the Parliament building on the left). The rooms on the back have a view of the Acropolis. Make sure you go on the roof @ night to see Athens all lit up. The view is spectacular! Keep in mind that this hotel has no fitness CTR or pool. We stayed in 3 Amalia hotels for this trip & this was the only one that had free Internet on its lobby computer. We also found a great Greek restaurant just 2 blocks from the hotel. It's called "Diros" ... take a left out of the lobby, take a left @ the next street, walk 2 blocks (including crossing @ the traffic light) & it'll be on your right. Make sure you have the chicken soup (avgolemono/lemon + egg). The Hard Rock Cafe is also just a 2-block walk. Enjoy!
