We had a lovely stay at the Marble House. It was an easy walk to the major attractions. Christos and his mom were most welcoming and helpful owners. . We would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Marble House 4 times already. This year was during March. Every year this hotel gets updated and something is new. Fully renovated bathrooms (the blue room 23 with balcony is my favorite), free Wi-Fi and an Internet corner with a huge screen down at the lobby.

As per Christos the young owner who is always helpful and hospitable, the family every year tries hard to be updated and catch the trends of the best service and value.

I’m a regular visitor to Athens and I hardly found this excellent ratio quality versus price.
Marble House has an excellent location calm, quite and within an easy walking distance to Acropolis and Acropolis museum as well as subway and bus stop. The bus stop for instance to the Archeological Museum is just 30 seconds on feet!
Christos and family are always willing to give you advice and top hits for restaurants near by. They provide a free map upon check-in.
I rate Marble House excellent in design, cleanliness, service, price and location. Do you ask for more? As we are regular visitors this is the meaning of loyalty… Thank you Christos and looking forward to seeing you again next year!!!

Room Tip: Room No23 has a balcony too!

Two night stay on the bottom floor of the hotel was quite loud as it is opposite the front entrance. Without having stayed on one of the upper leves I'd say for noise, the upper levels would make for a better nights sleep or go in armed with ear plugs. Christo, the host, very knowledgeable speaks fantastic English (as most Athenians do) and was a pleasure to deal with. Centeral convienent location. Over all good value for money.

Very clean, very friendly people for a very good price. Simplicity with a very good taste. Totally worth the staying!

Room Tip: Room #2 has a little outside patio...very cute and in handy for a quick glass of wine before leaving...

Christos is a good host, the location is quiet and it is very good value. The area is five minutes walk away from the edge of the Plaka, and you are in a residential part of Athens rather than a tourist area. We enjoyed this rather than being in the centre of Monastaeiki or Plaka, and I think you will pay more there anyway. Highly recommended.

If I'd go back to Athens I would definitely stay at the Marble house. THe rooms were nicely decorated and the whole place looked really clean. The reception was helpful and very friendly. Loved this place.

The hotel is located in a quiet(er) residential neighbourhood an easy 10 minute walk from the Acropolis and the new acropolis museum in Plaka. Major tourist destinations (the Agora, Syntagma square, the National Gardens, etc) are conveniently located. The hotel's proximity to subway and bus routes makes navigating the busy streets of Athens a breeze! Christos is very helpful and accommodating- all-in-all it was a delightful 5 days and I highly recommend the Marble House for your next visit to Athens.
