My husband and I stayed 4nights in cypria. Great location, live nights and dates, very clean rooms, good services, and quiet rooms for such a crowded location. Kind and helpful staff, we didn't like our room on first floor and they immediately changed it. I would choose nowhere else next time...

We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. It's well run with efficient, friendly staff. Its location just off the popular and busy shopping street Ermou, gave us easy walking access to the historic attractions of the Acropolis area, the Plaka district, Botanic Gardens, Syntagma Square.

The room was generous and well maintained, with effective air con, comfortable bed and as a bonus, a view of the Acropolis from the balcony.

Breakfast was 5/5. I can't comment on the price as it came as part of a package organised from Istanbul, but given the cost of the overall trip, which was extensive between the two countries, it certainly came at a sensible price.

A straightforward, unpretentious and professionally run hotel we'd happily return to and recommend.

Room Tip: a balcony room on the 6th (top) floor at the back of the hotel gives Acropolis view

Nice hotel, excellent location being near all transportation means.
Although we forgot to ask for a room with balcony when making the reservation, there was no problem when we arrived to do so and thus we were shown 3 more rooms from which we chose the one we finally stayed in.
friendly staff and very helpful.

Room Tip: not all rooms have balcony

Location: Situated very close to all the major attractions. We could walk to Acropolis Site, Associated Museums, Temple of Zeus and The restaurant up the hill. There is no denial that you need to walk a lot to visit these places but it is fun and you can get there easily by walking, while also passing through markets and so many Restaurants, the famous square.

About Rooms: We got a room on the fifth floor and to my disappointment, the room finished as soon as we entered. Of course, it is clean, hygienic and everything but the room is so small that you can't even keep your luggage and move around the room.

Internet Connectivity: The Receptionist made it clear (only when we reached there) that the wifi connectivity in the room is nil. But if you have a laptop then there are LAN cables to get you connected, otherwise wifi works well in the Reception lobby.

Breakfast: Was good, you get all that you want.

In Conclusion, you pay a lot for the type of the hotel it is but I guess they make you pay for the location and not the hotel. I would suggest that you look for a better hotel, if you going as a couple.

Excellent location near Syntagma Square and walking distance to many desirable sites in Athens. Found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, which is always a key qualifier for me. Even with limited walking, was able to get to Athens University, Plaka, trains, etc. On a small side street that feeds into vast shopping and eating area and into old market part of town. Full English breakfasts included and featured oodles of variety for value-conscious traveler. Most notable: cleanliness, location, value

Located in the heart of town center- fantastic access to most or all tourist spots around town. Literally a stone throw away (not on my arm!) from Syntagma square, the Hellenic parliament building. Very close to the Acropolis, restaurants on the hill, multiple train stations to get around town. The great thing about the hotel location is the proximity to bus stations even if one is planning trips out of town (we went to Corinth and Sounion). The drawback (if any) would be the small street that it is housed in that cannot accommodate any vehicular traffic. Other than that I would have very little hesitation in recommending this to anyone visiting Athens first time or many times over

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks this July. The street it is on is in a small side street off a major shopping street. It was so convenient to just go down and have everything in front of me - Syntagma metro station, easy access to all the restaurants in the Plaka, great shopping (H&M, Mango, Bershka, Zara, etc.), and tons of cafes. The breakfast buffet was simple but wonderful and convenient, with great service. I stayed on the fourth floor and it was very quiet. The rooms were yes, a bit dated and slightly on the small side, but kept very clean. I honestly initially thought I was making a compromise on the quality of the hotel for the location, but I definitely was wrong - this hotel is great by itself, and the location is just another major plus. The complimentary drink at the cafe downstairs was also a lovely touch. My only SLIGHT complaint is that the wi-fi signal would die out every now and then, but it honestly didn't happen very much over my 2 week stay. I really loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking to come to Athens.
