Room was reasonable size although not huge, great view of the Acropolis. Bathroom large and well appointed. Corridors still smell of smoke - probably ingrained in carpets which look old and need changing. Breakfast was good. We also ate our evening meal which was excellent although the restaurant was almost deserted and lacks any atmosphere also pretty expensive for a city where there are lots of restaurants serving good food at less exhorbitant prices. Lobby area/cafe best part of the hotel - lots of activity and great for people watching. HOWEVER really disappointiong to be asked to pay extra for WIFI in a 5* hotel - why? Top tip: you can connect for free to other public wireless networks in the lobby/cafe but these are blocked in room.
Central location is excellent - Metro station and direct express bus to airport but not a place to pick if there are demonstrations planned.
