Like much in Athens, this is another great ancient site. It is in the Plaka, and easily accessible on foot.

Just south of Syntagma and in front of the temple of Zeus - all covered by the Acropolis ticket. It is a nice site if you have time and since it is outside the main touristic area, it is very quiet. Easy to find, at the end of Adrianou street.

A flawless piece of antiquity well preserved in all its glory. It has been an inspiration for many artists around the world, nevertheless being a vital piece in the history of ancient greece. A must see for family and friends alike.

I found this place by chance in Athens!this is a nice place but not very crowded or with too many tourists. This place is near Sintaqma Sq.if you want go there you can take yourself to sintaqma Sq by public transformation and then easily walk to this place.it is near to plaka too.
At the first look you will just see the Arch and I myself in first look though it is a modern statue but when i went closer I faound out it is an ancient place!
the ticket was cheap and you can visit the erea behinde the Arch which there is some columns there.but the Arch is the best part of the area, the other thing are not very special.
it is not bad to take a look if you have enough time in athens.

It is near Plaka, Temple of Olympian Zeus. It now sits on the side of a main Athens street, so auto traffic has not been kind to its surface. It is a beautiful thing to behold, nonetheless.
