“Interesting Sight”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

This was a pleasant sight on the way up the Acropolis. It would be quite a sight to view one of the few live performances offered here from time to time.

Beautiful example of ancient architecture and technique, incredible experience to watch a music concert there, not like anything we have ever seen before, unforgettable!

“Closed for restoration but can still be seen”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

Likes: this is an awesome structure. Although it's closed for reconstruction, you can still have a good view of it through the chain linked fences.

Dislikes: the fact that it was not open for us to enter. Would have liked to be able to sit in one of the seats and get a feel of the place.

“The perfection of sound .”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

If a visitor happens to be in Athens its absolutely necessary to visit The Herodion... One of the most important ancient theaters of the world....I visit the Herodion 2-3 times a year and I had the chance to enjoy very important artists there....if you visit the place in the morning it is a rather dry experience and if its a hot day in the summer its not exactly the best to do...but the place changes when night falls...the lights..the perfect sound and the shadow of the Acropolis is the perfect combination....it does not matter , whether u know..or you like the performing artist...the important thing is to seize the opportunity to be there!
