“A must to see in Athens”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

This is for me the most beautiful stadium in the world, when you enter it, you return to the past. You should walk to the top and around. Fro the northern part, you also have a very nice view of Acropolis

“Old arena made new again”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 via mobile

I love the site was reused for modern games. The story of the Marathon comes to light here. It had limited access when I was there, but a quick view was ok.

“Interesting History but No Access”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

During walking tour of Athens we went by the Stadium and were told about its history and the marble from which it is made. We could get no closer than probably 75 feet from one end of the stadium. Nice photo op but no tour within facility.

“Beautiful Stadium”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

This new stadium built on the exact spot of the old Olympic stadium is amazing, and covered entirely ion marble. We didn't have time to go inside but viewed from the street. It is located in the heart of the city and shows how important athletics were to the ancient peoples.

“If you have any interest in Olympics, visit this”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Definitely a worthwhile visit. The site is centrally located and you are given an audio guide to accompany you so you can go at your own pace. Other than that you are given free range to explore. Our whole family enjoyed this visit
