“Massive Olympic Stadium”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

This massive, (entirely built of white marble) Stadium was built in 1896 for the Olympic games. Capacity of 50,000. When we were there in May 2014, there was a classic car show going on there, so added even more interest to the visit.

“Worth a drive by - and five minutes”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

You needn't spend more than five minutes at this site. Interesting - but not one of the top sites to visit and Athens there are many more things to see - so if your time is limited - you can drive by and save your time for better venues

“Excellent place to visit and learn of the Olympic idea”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

This place is really unique and the fee (3 Euro) worth the visit.
We learned a lot and some other visitors even went for a run on the original Olympic stadium, how cool is this?

Recommend, well done with an electronic device stopping at 12 points of interest.

“Another Awww moment in Greece”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

You see it in pictures and on television but there is no way to comprehend the vast greatness of the stadium. Walk to the top, walk to the bottom, walk the entire arena and look in all directions. You won't be disappointed.

“Very cool.”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

We didn't pay the fee to go in, but were still able to stand outside and take amazing photos. It's a great piece of history that you should see.
