This is one of my regular spots when in dire need of my curry fix! Its a great little restaurant with lovely food! The restaurant is clean and decor is basic but the service is good and the food excellent. Well worth a visit if you fancy some curry.

We had the beef vindaloo and tikka masala. Both were very good but masala was very oily though and we didn't like the cheese nan. The thing that lets this restaurant down is the service, very disorganised and cold then again it's something we experienced everywhere in athens. Seriously people cheers up...

I do not understand why someone has given this a bad review. This place has good Indian food for Indian palate or any palate that appreciates Indian food. The staff are polite and can converse in English, the food is good, the menu is sufficient.

Picture this: it's autumn but still feels like summer, it's hot, you are out shopping and you're hungry but you have a cold. What's better to eat than spicy, Indian food? Nothing!

Indian Kitchen is seconds away from Athens' most busy shopping street (Ermou Street), yet it is quiet, elegant, with nice music and very good food.

We had the samosas (as crispy as can be), two portions of pilau rice (very good), garlic naan (real naan), chicken tikka masala (spicy and smooth) a beer and a glass of wine.

The service was kind and efficient and the food was as original as it can be outside India. No fake naan, no coloured rice pretending to be pilau, the samosas weren't frozen and the chicken was cooked-to-order, not microwaved!

The bill was around 35 euros. A well deserved amount of money for a very filling and satisfying meal. The mains are so big that two not-very-hungry people can easily share one with pilau rice and a couple of appetizers. Next time, I'm definitely trying something from their tandoori variety because they actually have a tandoori oven!

A great addition to the list of ethnic restaurants of Athens, which I highly recommend!

We occupied one of the outdoor tables, as the weather was pleasant. The chicken khorma was well prepared. So was the chicken tikka. Our boiled rice was delayed do we had to re-call the waitress. It was a good experience for less than 20€ per head. A place I would revisit.
