“Amazing balcony view”
Reviewed 7 June 2013

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room seemed to be old fashioned but was clean, but when I stepped on the balcony and saw the view of the Parthenon, all was forgotten. The bathroom was uncomforatable with the entire bathroom getting wet when one takes a shower. The breakfast was excellent! The location seemed dodgy, but is only a five minute walk from restaurants and close to the Agora and Acropolis. The hamman across the road is excellent!

Hotel is in an excellent location, not for from restaurants, old town, sites and the metro. Rooms were a little on the shabby side but perfectly adequate for a budget place. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Only stayed there as an overnight but got in a full day's sight-seeing, walking around Athens (still enjoyable even on a wet weekend in February).

Having stayed in several budget hotels in Athens, I rate this far and away the best. Yes, the rooms are old-fashioned and dated, but everything else is good. Really convenient location, especially for flea-marketeers; friendly helpful staff, clean room, fresh linen, comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast even out of season without the roof-garden experience.

A great value hotel within easy walking distance of many fine museums, the Jason Inn is a very good choice for an enjoyable stay in Athens! Close to Psirri & Keramikos the Jason is friendly, comfortable and clean....enough for most of us! As others have noted it is a little dated but so are many hotels in Athens....the Jason makes up for this greatly with its friendliness, service and great views. Situated close to the delightful little chapel of Agios Asomaton and some interesting shops and museums I can highly recommended this hotel for a pleasant stay in this great city!

My husband and I stayed at the Jason Inn in Athens 4 nights in a row and then a 5th night on our way back from Santorini. Our first impression when we got there was that the room was not very nice at all..The bed was two singles pushed together and it was VERY outdated. The shower had no curtain (Which is to be expected in some parts of Europe) and you had to hold the shower head to bathe which was kind of annoying.

After our first night we decided that the room was actually not that bad. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels around Europe and the bed here was average with regards to comfort. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked really well which was great.

The rooftop balcony was amazing! The views are spectacular and the waiter was great!

If one does not care what the accommodation looks like then this place will be great for you. All in all I would personally say that this hotel is a bit below average for my taste with the exception of the great service from the waiter on the rooftop and the rooftops views. Location was quite good as well.

The breakfast was great, especially the muesli, fruit and yoghurt. The breakfast was served on the fourth floor with an amazing view of the Acropolis. The rooms are old and dated but clean. The shower was just hand held which was very annoying to use.
The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well which was a real plus as it was very hot.

Room Tip: Make sure you have the breakfast here.

The location is excellent. Very close to the Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant with complimentary breakfast is great. The staff were very helpful. Now the not so good. It smelled like mothballs. The shower was a hand shower. So if you are tall you are only getting water to your waist and below unless you grab the shower and wet the rest of yourself. The beds were single beds put close together. No king nor queen. Otherwise its a good deal.

Room Tip: Dont forget to ask for a non smoking room (if you dont smoke)
