Jason Inn is very close to Monesteraki, where all the shops and restaurants are located. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly, rooms are clean. Good breakfast selection. You cannot beat the price for the view of Acropolis. The only downside is the small bathroom, we were in room 108 and you have to maneuver to be able to get in the small shower and the toilet; but my friends stayed in another room and they said they didn't have problem with the bathroom.

Don't expect luxury. But for a clean and decent room only a few minutes walk from Monastiraki, the Jason Inn cannot be beaten...! The nearest metro station is Thissio which is a two minute walk. There are multiple bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood which overflow with life at the weekends. Also the hotel is walking distance from the Athens Flea Market, which is well worth strolling through. All in all, the Jason Inn offers simple accommodation (some rooms with Acropolis view...) at GREAT value for money, right in the heart of Athens...!

Thanks to the team at Jason Inn, Athens for making my stay such a good one.
I stayed there a few nights after arriving in Athens and again at the end of my holiday.
The Location was brilliant with what could possibly be the best view of the Acropolis at night.
The breakfast was great, the rooms were clean. Walk out the door and you a right in the thick of Athens. I highly recommend.,

Dan

Not the nicest rooms but ok if you're not a clean freak. Internet was fast but needs to be refreshed every now and then. Bathroom is clean but the shower head is at your waist and you have to pull it up to wash your head. there are a few insects I have seen in the room but like small spiders and ants but nothing big like cockroaches or anything. The hotel definitely need some maintenance. Not all TV channels work (like BBC and others) mostly Greek channels work. The breakfast was underwhelming except for the yogurt which goes great with the honey; I would always go for seconds when it came to that.

They don't allow late checkouts! It's a big deal for me.

We were looking for somewhere that was reasonably central, whilst being fairly quiet and relatively affordable. The Jason Inn hits the mark, although other reviewers are right in saying that it could benefit from modernising.

The hotel itself is well situated off Ermou, and is within easy walking distance of Gazi, Psyri, Monastiraki and most of the main attractions. It's on a side street, and was quiet whilst we were there.

The rooms are reasonably large, clean and a little dated. The beds are, as others have mentioned, a little hard, but that's a matter of personal preference anyway - fine for us. Wifi is free and unlimited, but requires logging-in via a website rather than directly, which we had to do repeatedly - not a deal breaker, but a little annoying.

The interior of the hotel is spacious, bright and clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an adequate mix of hot and cold food, and the views from the roof bar towards the Areopagus and Acropolis are excellent.

Overall, a satisfactory hotel for the price, and one I'd be happy to use again.
