This charming little hotel is located in a narrow side street lined with restaurant tables, just off a larger boulevard with restaurants and shops and is a short walk to Syntagma or Monastiraki metro stations. The decor of our room was pleasing, with pretty wood floors, a neo-baroque chandelier, and high ceilings. The room was quite small, as was the bathroom, but fine for a short stay. Though there was a side table right in front of the bathroom door that gave me a pretty good bruise when I smashed into it in the dark! Our room had a tiny balcony, overlooking the street and a vacant lot with a cat and kittens in it. No view of course, but if you hang a right out the front door, there's a hotel with a rooftop bar right at the end of the street with a fantastic Acropolis and city view. Desk staff was very helpful - arranged our airport taxi pickup, carefully explained how to take the metro to Piraeus, and recommended a good nearby restaurant. Breakfast must have been neither terrible nor terrific, because I have no recollection of the food.
