I so enjoyed my walking tour with Vasilios - he was very knowledgable, gave me an insiders tour of the fish/meat market with a stop for a little bite to eat- something I would not have seen otherwise. This was a great beginning to a lovely stay in Athens!

Our food tour with Yannis Ninos was not only the highlight of our vacation in Greece, but also one of the most incredible experiences in our life!

With more than 5 hours of walking, eating and discussing about every aspect of the greek culture, we felt like really greek locals!

But for us the real apocalypse was Yannis! A nextdoor guy that turned into a Rockstar during the tour! Everybody knew him, everybody was hanging and kissing him, telling "kalemera", always with a huge smile on their face! Yannis is the friend, brother or colleague you really want to have in your life! And we are happy that we had him in our life!

Thank you Yannis for this unforgettable experience! See you soon in New York! Kalemera!

We had the absolute BEST experience. For starters, we got lost and didn’t make it to the meet up point on time (or at all) our guide Nota somehow found us and I still don’t know how she did it. She was the nicest person and made sure that we had an amazing tour even though we were a little short on time. Without her we would not have appreciated the rich history of the Acropolis. She told us stories and myths. It’s a must do.

THEN we did a food tour with Llektra. It was the BOMB. She made it so fun. I would describe it more like a local showing you all the best spots in town rather than a tour. She had us try the best pastries, some Greek culture coffee, the meat, fish, and spice market, then we finished at a local cured meat spot. Llektra was incredibly knowledgeable from a historical and current perspective. It was such an amazing time, and I have no doubts that without her we would have missed all of our favorite parts of Athens. Truly, a can’t miss experience!

I cannot express enough how important this company was to our amazing experience. THANK you! A trip we will never forget!

My wife and had an excellent food tour from a passionate Chef George. We were excited to learn so much about olive oils, honey, fruit and vegetable preserves, deli meats etc. George helped us do shopping for unique Greek gifts for our adult children. My wife who is a very experienced cook and baker had great discussions with George who helped us acquire specialty spices and herbs. We really enjoyed his enthusiasm and knowledge.

We met Chef George in Plaka directly after our tour of the ruins. He introduced himself and our first stop was a little cafe for coffee and early morning desserts. We talked about American mobster movies while he taught us all about Greek coffee traditions while sampling desserts from the area. After that as we walked to the markets we talked about past and present culture of Athens. Arriving at the meat market we were able to see all the fresh meat and fish available to buy. George is a very popular Chef in the area and he knew everyone there and was allowed to give us a closer look at all the meat poultry and fish for sale there. He took us to the fruit markets and hand picked olives and fruits for us. From there we went on to sample dried meats and cheeses then on to a local pie shop for spinach and cheese pies. We ended the tour at an outdoor souvlaki restaurant where we had great local beer and wine with our late afternoon lunch. We ate so much on the tour we barely had any appetite for dinner.
Chef George was a great and we both felt comfortable with him and his choices of food for us. We totally recommend others to take his tour while in Athens.
