A wonderful way to spend 3 hours in Athens. The tour goes through many neighborhoods, each with a unique food/restaurant. More than tastes, it is filling. Andreas was friendly and informative. He offered tips to enhance the visit, too.

We really enjoyed the Athens food tour, which took us off the beaten track into the belly of the city! Even on a very hot day the tour was entirely doable for everyone (even a family with small children was included), and worked well as an introduction to Greek food culture and the various areas of central Athens also for those for whom this was not the first visit to Athens or Greece. The quality of the food and stops on the way was very high and well selected, and our guide Zoe was lively and engaged as well as patient both in waiting for any stragglers and in answering questions (and good at chasing up answers to any specialist questions from vendors/producers and translating them for us). This tour is a must for foodies and hellenophiles, you will not be disappointed!

If you've been to Athens before and you're looking to see new parts of the city -- this tour is great. We learned an awful lot about Athens itself as well as its art scene. Nikos is wonderful. You'll enjoy your time with him and learn so much. Highly recommend.

We took the food tour with our guide Zoe. It was just as described and in 3 hours we felt we knew Athens and Greek food so much better. There were only 5 of us on the tour, so it was almost like a private tour. Zoe's spoke extremely well and was easy to follow. We experienced a nice cross-section of Athens culinary scene without walking all that far and got to sample and observe everything from pastries being made to what goes on in the meat and fish market. It was a great bargain and I would highly recommend it. By far the best tour of the three we took in Athens.

We did a private tour for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys). Diana was our tour guide but she had Nickolas accompany us for the beginning part which was the tour of ancient Athens. Nickolas was VERY knowledgeable and made the tour interesting with his stories. He took us to the Parliament house with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, we visited the National Gardens and made our way to the Olympic Stadium. After that we visited the Acropolis/Parthenon. It took about 2 hours here to make it to the top and back down and he stopped along the way to explain all the monuments we were seeing. Each one had an interesting story. After the Acropolis, Nikolas left us and Diana showed us some of the quaint neighborhoods of Athens. She stopped along the way to let us experience some of the amazing food (bugatsa was a highliight!!!). We had lunch in the Plaka district at a fabulous restaurant and she took us through some of the shopping areas as well. It was a full day of fun, education and great food! Highly recommend if you are in Athens - a great way to experience the city in one day.
