The staff was very courteous and helpful.
The location of the hotel was very close to the center of Athens, 200 meters from the highway that leads to Syntagma Square.
Services used were as described in the web site of the hotel.
I can not find any downside to this hotel.
Very good for the money.

We booked for one night this hotel because we wanted something convenient in a fair price. For 69 euros per night we got a nice quite spacey room with very nice bathroom with all amenities, coffee maker in the room, king size very comfortable bed, very very clean and breakfast. I think is more than fair value for such a nice hotel !!!

Room Tip: I think all rooms are good.

We stayed at Athens Atrium in December 2012. We are a small family (husband, wife and a 4 year old son) and we fought the hotel to be quite decent. No fancy services, but it wasn't lacking any basic services either

The hotel is located quite close to a major avenue (Syggrou), which gives access to bus and taxi transportation without being affected by the avenue's noise.

Breakfast buffet was a bit limited, but you could still have very decent breakfast. We didn't try lunch/dinner, so no comments

Overall the hotel presents a very decent choice for staying in Athens. The price is reasonable, the hotel is clean and the stuff helpfull

Oh where to begin...
1. We arrived and the taxis were on strike, it was not easy getting transportation to the hotel. I would normally not include this for the "hotel's review" except our friends arrived a day later and the hotel sent the shuttle to pick them up, an option that we did not know was available.
2. Breakfast, I understand typically Greeks do not eat breakfast but I do expect the bacon not be boiled (sick looking) and the eggs to be at least scrambled (not sunny side up). It was ok but for the money we could have gone elsewhere.
3. Staff, one gentlemen was really nice and helpful, the swing shift guy was a nightmare, lazy, rude and consistently gave bad information. We were directed to the restaurant two doors down, obviously a relative of this guy because the food was so horrible, the microwaves had a hard time keeping up with the customers.
4. Location, as much as I enjoy walking an hr one way to see the sites (Acropolis) before I run a marathon, I dont recommend this if you have small children. The hotel is in a residential area, not easy to get to from the main road and oh btw, they changed their names, we had ZERO taxi drivers know how to get to this hotel. Luckily we had the hotel's card but if we didnt, we would have been screwed, guess the hotel changed their name and the taxi drivers didnt get the memo.
5. Bar, how does one tap the keg two nights in a row? They kept running out of beer, its not like we were lushes, one night we had two beers and then the draft was done, no problem right, we'll drink bottle, then after six beers they ran out of bottles. In a group of 10, that's pretty weak. I got a dirty look when I bought my own bottle down...but if they had booze on hand, I wouldnt have to go out and purchase it!
6. Laundry service, dont believe the day turn around...I was told to drop off my laundry by 1000 Monday morning and I would get it back Tuesday. Not the case, after complaining, I finally got my laundry an hr before we had to leave for the airport (24 euro charge) for about 15 items.
7. Minimal food options. Because this is located in a residential area, you can imagine that there werent many places to get food. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the chef that makes breakfast is not the chef that makes dinner, I would have said lunch but they DO NOT provide a lunch option. The food at the hotel for dinner was pretty good but not exactly authentic Greek food, seems like they catered to the tourists.
I know there are much better options, closer to attractions, hotels that even have pools and doorman for a 4 star. I say pass on this and get closer to the Acropolis, you will at least be within walking distance of many food/activities.

Room Tip: Upgrade to the suite especially if you have kids.

I stayed at the atrium in 2008 with a group of 60 people. The food and the service we're great but what i loved the most was the huge balcony overlooking the city and the park. Price was reasonnable and staff very friendly.

My wife and I booked a vacation to Athens, Greece and found a review on line for the hotel. We decided to make our reservation with them and we were not disappointed. It was nestled in a business/residential section of Athens away from the traffic and noise. Our room was great with all the amenities and included a small balcony that we could sit out on to relax after a day of touring. Their continental breakfast was super with an assortment of baked goods (warm croissants), cold cuts and cheeses, fried eggs, and bacon/sausages. There were plenty of refreshments - orange juice, milk, coffee and tea. The staff was very helpful with travel tips/directions and the maid service was top-notch. Free wi-fi and access to computers with a printer were helpful when planning our day trips in and around Athens. It was convenient to the sites - we could walk to the Acropolis, shops, and restaurants. There is a hair dryer but you will need an adapter for your curling iron (220 volt) and any other electrical devices - chargers, etc.

Room Tip: Make sure you request a double bed as a couple or you may get two twins.
