The hotel is situated near the City Hall of Athens and near the most important attractions. However the area is not very clean but hotel is well maintained and clean. The receptionists very kind and hospitable and good English speakers. The facilities cover requirements for any tourist picky. I recommend with pleasure this hotel.

This place is perfectly fine for a budget stay in Athens. My husband and I stayed here on our last night of our honeymoon because it is very close to a metro stop for the airport. It's located in a kind of seedy alley way, but that alley way is right off of a main street with lots of cafes and shops. Sure, the rooms are a little shabby but that's standard for a budget place. It is still comfortable and has very helpful and down-to-earth staff.

Cost x Benefit is very good.

Good location, hotel is near two metro stations which allow you to move throughout the city in a very fast way, including Port and Airport.

People working at hotel are very nice, supportive and always willing to provide information for you to enjoy Athens as much as possible.

This hotel is indeed close to the most important attractions, to the Plaka area and the Monastiraki metro station. From the point of view of location, it is convenient, although the area is dirty and crowded. One of the receptionists was extremely helpful, willing to help with information, we appreciated all his help. The other one however (which did the day shift during our stay) would roll his eyes at every question, so we preferred to avoid further requesting his help. The rooms are overall OK, cleaned every day, but don't expect beauty; the one we had could use some new furniture. The breakfast was the same every single day, and tasteless. We stayed 3 nights and were interested in being close to the Acropolis and other sites, so it was a fine option; but would not choose this hotel for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Not all the rooms have balconies. Some of them only have several fenced centimeters outside the wind...

This was a return visit for us, having stayed there a few years ago. The staff are the highlight of this hotel - very helpful and kind. The rooms are basic but clean. We particularly love the rooftop terrace with its great view of the city and the acropolis. The location is perfect - easy walking distance to the sights and in a very interesting market area. This hotel offers a great travel dollar value and we highly recommend it.

This hotel is within 30 or so walk of the Acropolis and within walking distance of two metro stations. The staff were very helpful to advise about how to get around and what to look at and the time frame that this would take. We were at the acropolis top within an hour of arriving on a sunny afternoon and had a great afternoon early evening walk to then have dinner on the street on the way back. The continental breakfast in the price is generous and the facilities in the rooms are quite satisfactory. The place was quiet and we found it suited our needs very well for this trip.

Room Tip: Ask to go to the roof for a look around in the evening as the view is excellent.

This hotel had everything you would expect for the price. By no means luxurious, but It was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast buffet was pretty good. Perfect if like me you will be spending most of your time out and about in the city rather than hanging around in the hotel.
I had a quiet room; a 2 layers of double-glazed doors kept all of the city noise at bay. The free wifi worked perfectly in my room.
The staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful; keen to make suggestions of how to spend time in the city and highlights not to miss.
The location is about 5 minutes north of Monastriaki Square and station, very close to the vibrant central market. It was easy to find, and I had no problems with it and felt perfectly safe; though maybe it best for those with curious children; there is a sex shop directly opposite!
If I am in Athens again on my own I will come back here.
