We had a one night stay - 4 of us in two rooms where I shared an Exclusive Suite at €338 with my son and my daughter and her friend shared a Regular Suite at €193.

The bigger suite, with a large balcony, was plenty big enough for all four of us to socialise. My double bed was comfortable with good quality pillows and the fold-up couch bed in the spacious sitting room was fine for my son for sleeping. The girls had twin beds, which were similarly comfortable, in a pretty basic room. In the suite there was a simple kitchen area in the sitting room and a rather small bathroom (with shower only). Good aircon throughout.

We felt it was pleasing, spacious accomodation at a reasonable price for a city centre hotel. We arrived late (02:30) and had no problem in checking in. In the morning we had a pleasant breakfast - usual self-service choice - and a trouble free check out.

We weren't there long enough to be able to give more feedback but I'd rate this as a pleasant simple hotel - adequate rather than special but certainly no complaints at all.

Room Tip: The Exclusive Suite would be a good base for a long stay.

What a pleasure it was to walk into my hotel room.
After 5 weeks travelling throughout Europe, this was definitely one of the best & reasonably priced.
Location brilliant, rooms spotless & the bed was the best I've had by far!
The staff were extremely friendly & helpful & breakfast was great.
The only minor thing I could suggest is not to charge for regular water...Athens' water is foul, so you're forced to drink bottled, therefore I believe at least a litre should be provided for free.
Other than that comment, loved, loved, loved my 3 nights here!

We arrived to the hotel early after an overnight flight from JFK and was lucky to be able to check in. The receptionist was very helpful and provide us information regarding the Acropolis & surrounding restaurants. We were surprised to also receive a welcome bottle of champagne. The room was very nice & we loved the small patio. Everything was going well until I plugged in my curling iron and blew the fuse in our room. A staff member immediately came in and solve the problem by bring in a converter. It's location was perfect to the Acropolis & National Museum as well as many restaurants, bars & shopping areas. I would definite book this hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay, choosing AVA from the multitude of TA comments.

The location was absolutely perfect, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Two restaurants recommended by the staff are worth mentioning: Stufi (opposite Herodus Atticus) and Alia, also close to the hotel.

AVA is everything you would want in accomodation when exploring a new city. The room was spacious (even by North American standards) and a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates were brought up to us in celebration of our honeymoon. Everything we wanted to see in Athens was within walking distance, so it served as the perfect hub throughout our 3 night stay. Breakfast was ample, and I particularly enjoyed the baklava that was always included. Though we didn't utilize the kitchen space that can be found in each room, we definitely took advantage of the fridge to keep drinks cold. And it should be mentioned that you'd be hard-pressed to ever walk by reception without a cheery, happy greeting! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Athens!

The hotel is situated on a narrow one-way tourist street, which leads you to Acropolis. Our room (executive suite, no. 201) was spacious with separate living room, bedroom and a little kitchen. We only stayed one night so didn't have time to try their breakfast. Staff was very helpful and advised a good restaurant, where we had dinner the same night. As far as the prices are concerned, I think the hotel is overpriced (260 euros per night), but this seems to be a general problem with Greece. They entered the EU and their prices have flown up while the quality of the things stayed the same.
