We arrived 9 am, normal check in time is 3pm like all other hotels but the reception was so courteous. Kept apologizing because the guests haven't checked the room yet - it was not even her fault. She offered us breakfast (it was excellent buffet, by the way), so we could sit down, relax while waiting for the room to be ready.
The room is beautiful decorated, very clean. Not to mention that location is great. Centre of everything. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Let's start by saying that Athens is not a city that stands out by its hotels, however this Greek chain is a refreshing oasis in the desert. Service is lovely at reception although a bit awkward at breakfast. The breakfast is lovely and lots of good quality stuff. Room was not the biggest one although it felt like the bathroom was! Bed was comfy and wifi worked properly. All in all a good choice if you are willing to pay a bit more and you are tired of sleeping in rock hard Greek mattresses.

Room Tip: The hotel is in front of busy road so you might want to ensure you get a quiet room.

Very comfortable beds with excellent mattresses! What a great surprise for a Greek hotel.
Bathrooms big, clean and spacious. But too large for such a small bedroom..

We went down to breakfast and upon entering the dining room we were asked for our room number which we duly gave.
We sat down to eat and we were asked again, and again and again. The fifth time we were asked i was rather annoyed and i received a rude reply back from the waitress.

The waiting staff were very odd. Very stiff, uncomfortable and aggressive women. They need to learn how to serve without the attitude!

Front of house staff were Excellent!

Breakfast food was excellent with a good choice of eggs, muesli, healthy foods, fruit and cooked choices.

Good location for the hotel which is near lots of lovely squares, and shops only 3 minutes walk away.

What we did not like were the DEAD STUFFED ANIMALS in the entrance halls and especially the dining room!! How odd and uncomfortable.

I think the hotel is trying too hard to be trendy and different. No need to try so hard!

Room Tip: All rooms were quiet and excellent. We had a room on the side street which was perfect for us and h...

We stayed 4 nights in Grecotel Pallas Athena and the most remarkable thing is the extremely helpful and joyful staff.
The rooms are clean and beautiful and the location is perfect near the Omonia subway. Very recommended!

I booked this property several months in advance with a popular booking re seller.
I was travelling around Greece, when just 2 days before my arrival... I receive a simple email
my booking has been cancelled "cause they were not able to charge my credit card)
I'm a tour operator and I'll never treat one of my client like this. at least one email to ask for another credit card.... I was completely disappointed, and with the problem to book another place just the day before.... I hope you'll think twice before cancelling reservations again this way.

My family and I recently visited this hotel in the heart of Athens, Greece. What a wonderful experience. The staff exemplified the amazing Greek hospitality and our visit to this hotel was a definite high point during our 2 week trip. I had 3 out of 4 bars on their free wifi service. The bed was super comfortable and the restaurant provided excellent service and food. We had room service breakfast on our last day and it was an amazing feast for the three of us (total cost was around $52 USD). The location is great. It's right accross the street from stop #15 on one of the Hop-on-Hop-off bus tours and we bought our tickets for this tour right at the front desk. (cost for tour $18). The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk from a very trendy restaurant scene. This hotel was recently renovated and I highly recommend it.
