We stayed 3 nights to visit Athens for the first time, after estimating it would be a convenient location, and this proved to be the perfect choice.
You can access the hotel easily by taking the subway from the airport and get off at Monastiraki station, which is very large and gets you a great view on the Acropolis as you walk out. Then it is a short walk on the very central Ermou street to the hotel, which is located on the quieter side of Ermou.
The staff does a great job welcoming you, bringing to the room a welcome collation. Room was nice, without being too large, but with good equipment and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was included in the rate, and offers a decent selection, even though I was not too found of the food, but then I am not too found of the Greek food in general...
Anyway, from this hotel, you can walk to all the Acropolis sites conveniently, as well as to the dining neighborhoods (Plaka, Gazi, Psiri, Monsatiraki).
A bit pricey, but a safe choice overall...

Good food, good service and a nice clean room. We stayed our first four nights in Athens and of the 3 hotels we ultimately stay in it was my favorite. Eazy walk to the Plake, Syntagma Square, the Agora and the Acropolis, the Athens Flea market plus the underrated Ceramikos Cemetery. If you're into antiques they are everywhere around this "up and coming" neighborhood. Never felt any apprehension walking around at any hour.

Room Tip: We loved our Juliette balcony on the 4th floor with view of Thesio metro station, the Agora, Hephast...

We stayed in Junior suite 24 with a stunning view of the Acropolis from our room and terrace. We could walk to the Acropolis and many other of the major attractions of Athens. Masses of bars, restaurants and cafes very near as is a metro station. The staff are charming, helpful and speak excellent English. We would certainly stay there again and even come from the airport by the metro next time.

Room Tip: Junior Suite 24 likely to be the best room.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, I must say we are very pleased with our visit.

The hotel is only 5-10 mins walk from a Metro station which is on the Airport line (Line 3). We did feel a bit 'unsure' about the neighbourhood of the hotel at first, then it turned out it was a busy but friendly area, lots of antique shops.

Another good thing about this hotel is that it is in a walkable distance to most historic sites, we basically didn't need to use any public transport while we were in Athens. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Room service was excellent, we only realised in later days that our room were made up and serviced twice every day. We only wish we could stay for longer.

The only bad thing we could find in this hotel was some other guests who were selfish and noisy. Those people should learn and understand that they are not staying in their own house, they should respect other guests and stop being so noisy!

recently stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Rooms are average size, nice bathroom, staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. We arrived late and I mentioned it was my husband's birthday, next morning the staff brought a lovely little cake with a candle out with his breakfast. Very easy to walk form here to most major tourist attractions and staff give good directions. Nice restaurants within 5 minute walk.

Room Tip: our view from first floor room was over a dingy alley, maybe ask for a better view from a higher fl...

Imagine arriving at Piraeus harbor in the middle of July after a long boat journey, it´s 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit) outside and the children (7 and 9 years old) are NOT in their best mood to say the least, neither is the wife. All outdoor museums are closed due to the heat, even Parthenon.

Finally we somehow managed it to O&B Athens Boutique Hotel and entering the hotel felt like coming to heaven, lovely air con, beautiful interior and the friendly staff gave us some well needed refreshments.

The room was very nice, tastefully decorated, ok size for a family of four with a lovely bath room.

The breakfast was good, better than regular hotel breakfast according us.

The only drawback is that the neighborhood could have been cozier and the view from our room nicer. Some of the rooms do have view over Parthenon but we thought it was not worth the extra cost, maybe next time. When choosing the hotel I thought that Parthenon was closer than it in reality was. It is however within walking distance; ask for direction at the reception.

The best thing about the room was the wonderful bed with its fantastic quilt, pillow and sheets (Egyptian linen); it must be the most comfortable be in the world!!

I would choose the hotel again.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view over Akropolis.

We really enjoyed our stay at O & B. Physically the hotel is nice, but nothing extraordinary. I don't mean this in a bad way, it is just not a really old historic building or on a stunning street, etc..

What made our stay so nice was the staff. Everyone was beyond helpful. You can tell they give the same orientation schpiel 20 times a day. But they always seemed happy to explain things, give advice, and give directions.

The neighborhood .... while not as picturesque as some others actually had a lot of character and had some great little restaurants and bars. Good to be (a little bit) off the tourist track but still close to everything.

This held for everyone from our waiters to the receptionist. Kudos.
