This hotel is a gem in hustling and bustling Athens. We were very surprised by the proximity of the hotel to the various sites and areas of the city. For those who love to walk, this is a great central location to start their exploration. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was well furnished and charming. Conversely, for those who have not visited Athens, don't get freaked out by the graffiti. Much of it is more related to the recent crisis with country and is not a reflection of area. My fiance and I have very comfortable and had a wonderful experience with the locals. Everyone was warm and friendly. We definitely would stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent because it's really close to the tourist sights, but not in a solely tourist part of town. Tons of great local cafés around.

The hotel is very smartly decorated and outfitted. The beds are comfortable. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is great.

We stayed in a family room (we have two kids). It was very comfortable and plenty roomy.

A great find. So nice to be welcomed with a glass of chilled water on a warm day. Very surprised to find our bed turned down when we got home in the evening, very nice touch. The hotel was very quiet and all the staff were extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again as it is so centrally located. The station for Pireaus is literally round the corner from the hotel.

A very nice boutique hotel located a few steps from the heart of Athens. Actually, the location of this hotel can't be greater - a 2 minutes walk from the Thisio metro station (the M1) and a 5 minutes walk from "Monastiraki" station which takes you straight to the airport. Also. The Acropolis can be reached in a 15 min. walk to the area. There area itself is not very friendly at first because of all the graffitis and a sex store, so at night it feels not so comfy but you get used to it.
About the hotel itself - The staff is amazing, very nice and excellent service! We took one of the Thisio room which has a balcony (standing one). The room is pretty small but efficient and modern. The bed ant the pillows weren't really comfy for us but I think it's individual. This specific room was viewing the street so at night there is some noise of drunks near the market which we heard one night at 5AM, even though it was quiet the other nights.
The breakfast is great and the hotel has a really nice atmosphere.
You should try the room service/the dinner bistro 'cause though we've waited more than an hour to get it to our room, it was absolutely tasty !!
Great hotel and great location all in all.

Room Tip: pick a room away from the street thoughit's not so bad most of the times.

The best thing about this very good small hotel is the location. Just 5 minutes walk from Thissio station and therefore it is easy to get there from either Piraeus or the airport and then to places of interest. You could walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum (a must visit) if you wanted to - this would be possible in about 30-40 minutes.
The staff are very pleasant and happy to help in any way.
We had no trouble finding good value restaurants each night within about 5 minutes walk.
The area whilst safe is full of second hand goods dealers and therefore is a bit dreary and grim.
The room is compact but clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and offered quite a good selection but I found the hot choices warm only and a little disappointing.
